Okay, kiddies, be warned: This one is long, but it answers a lot of questions. With that in mind, here's the next chapter:

“Course is set, so we should be able to get to Traverse Town in about two hours,†said Riku, typing a bunch of calculations into the ship’s computer. He stopped after his announcement, cracked his knuckles, got up out of his chair, and left the helm to sit with Sora and Kairi in the lounge area.

Kairi was staring out the window, watching all the stars pass by. Each one looked like a shooting star passing by, some in fast motion, others slow, each one carrying a different colored aura around it. “Whoa,†she said, “Is it like this every time you use a…what did you call it? Warp gummi?â€

Sora stared at her as she watched the stars in awe, “Sometimes. It all depends on where you are. Some areas have the colors inverse to each other.†Kairi squealed and watched out the window excitedly, eagerly watching for any other changes to occur.

It’s as if her whole life were for this moment, thought Sora, smiling. He was glad to see her happy again. He always felt in pain whenever she cried…

Riku pulled up a chair, and sat almost in-between Sora and Kairi, “So, Sora, are you gonna tell us why we’re taking this ‘sudden’ field trip of yours, or are we going to play guessing games the whole trip?â€

Kairi turned towards the both of them, mainly at Riku, “I thought you knew why we were doing this?†Riku shook his head, “Nope. All I got was Sora dragging me, saying, ‘I’ll explain along the way. Just come on, we gotta find Kairi!’†They both turned to Sora, awaiting his answer.

Sora turned his chair around, sat with the chairs back in front of him, folded his arms on the top of the back, rested his head, and sighed, “Okay, like I told Leon, we’re going to Traverse Town, and Fairy Godmother is going to meet us there. What I didn’t tell him was that we also need to talk with Gepetto and Pinochio. There are a couple of loose ends we need confirmed before we start.â€

    “Such as?†asked Riku.

“Where to find a certain star…†he replied.

An hour passed by as Sora told Riku and Kairi the plan. The reactions of the two varied, going from ‘This makes sense’ to ‘How in the world is this going to possibly work’. When Sora finished explaining, Riku spoke up first.

Riku shook his head, “I’ll give you this much, Sora, this is one of your more original plans: Simple, yet so complex that the smallest flaw could send this plan up in smoke.â€

“The things we need confirmed are simple ‘yes’/ ‘no’ things, Riku,†said Sora, “If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t come up with the plan, or do any of the calculations; Roxas and Namine did.â€

Riku nodded, “That does, actually. Your grades in math stunk, and since you haven’t been to school for a year, they definitely have gotten worse.â€

Sora frowned, “You don’t have to be mean about it,†They both laughed. Kairi did not.

She shook her head, “I don’t feel right about this. How can we ask the two of them to do such a thing? This might be their plan, but still. How can we possibly do this?â€

“Well, for starters, you can stop acting like we’re not here…or that we can’t hear you.â€

The three of them jumped. No matter how many times that’s done, they’ll never get used to it. Namine appeared in the window Kairi was sitting next to, giggling at their surprise, while Roxas appeared in the reflection of the glass table that was in-between the three of them, rolling his eyes due to the fact that they weren’t used to it. “Second,†said Roxas, “We didn’t just come up with the plan, we volunteered for this, so technically we’re not being asked.â€

“I know, but,†said Kairi, “say for a moment that this works: Sora and I might not ever see you or Namine again. It just doesn’t feel right to me that you’re making this sacrifice for us.â€

“Sacrifice?†said a surprised Namine, “Is that what you think this is?â€

“Isn’t it?†asked Kairi, looking a little confused now.

Namine sighed, “Kairi, I want you to try to understand. This isn’t mainly about you. Yes, you and Sora are a factor, but,†Namine held Kairi’s reflected hand in the mirror, “Roxas and I are doing this for us. If this doesn’t work, you and Sora will have a win-lose situation, but Roxas and I will still be in the same situation we always have been. I’m sure Sora will have thought of a plan to sneak back to Radiant Garden to find a way to see you again,†Everyone looked Sora, who shrugged with a sheepish grin, confirming Namine’s suspicion, “but Roxas and I will be able to see each other no matter what. Yes, we’ll have our conversations together, but we both agree that we want something more.â€

Kairi frowned, “But this? I mean, do you really understand what you’re doing? What you’re saying? What you’re getting yourself into here?â€

“Let me ask you something, Kairi,†Roxas said, “What went through you’re mind when Sora had to leave you to fight Xehanort’s heartless, and to try and find Riku?â€

Kairi was surprised. She hadn’t thought of that moment in a long time, “Well…I thought I was going to go with him…that no matter what the risk, I’d always be with Sora, and that he’d protect me.â€

Roxas nodded, “Right, but for us it’s not anywhere near that simple,†He walked from the edge of table, disappeared, and then reappeared next to Namine. He tried to run his fingers through her hair, but his hand passed all the way through her head. Kairi and Sora frowned.

“No matter what happens to us next,†started Roxas.

“We’re prepared to risk it all so we can truly be together. Just like you two are,†finished Namine, “So please, Kairi, don’t feel ashamed for us. This is our choice. We want a life of our own now. If it doesn’t work, we’ll find another way. This is our choice.â€

Kairi started to tear up, “I know, but…if this does work…we won’t be connected like we used to. You’re more than just a person living inside me, Namine,†Kairi placed her hand on the window, “You’re my sister.†Namine smiled weakly, and placed her hand where Kairi’s was on the window, “I still will be, Kairi.â€

Roxas and Sora stared at the two of them. Sora looked at Roxas, “Namine’s like that too, huh?†Roxas nodded, reading his mind, “It’s a girl thing, I bet.†Riku, who knew that you didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that Kairi and Namine wouldn’t appreciate that comment, so he quickly ducked behind his seat. Sure enough, pillows and other things that weren’t bolted down began flying all over the ship.

The ships warning bell, started to go off. “Saved by the bell,†Riku muttered. He then spoke up, “We’re approaching Traverse Town now,†Kairi lowered the chair she was about to throw, and Sora was trying hard to see straight.

The ship landed and the trio entered through the main gates. Sora looked around, “Nothing’s changed at all,†he muttered.

    “BIBBITY BOBBITY BOO!â€

From out of nowhere, a small pillar of blue smoke appeared just a few feet in front of them, and the Fairy Godmother emerged, “Sora! Kairi! Ah, and you must be Riku! Welcome, welcome! How I may be of help to you three?â€

Sora quickly explained the situation to the Godmother. Miraculously, she understood it, considering how fast Sora explained it, “Of course! That shouldn’t be too difficult. Of course I’ll help!â€

“Good,†Sora said with relief, “now, I’ll be right back. I’m gonna go talk to Geppetto. This shouldn’t take long.†He quickly raced off to the puppet master’s workshop.

“Do you think this will work?†Kairi asked, after Sora raced off.

“I don’t see why not,†replied the Godmother, “If I do my spell correctly, and other fairy agrees, this plan of yours should go by without a hitch.â€

Ten minutes later, Sora came racing back, as fast as he could, gasping for breath, “Okay, it looks everything’s good. I found out what we need to know about Pinnochio, so we can definitely do this.â€

“Good,†said Riku, “Let’s get back to the ship.â€

Another ten minutes passed, and Sora, Riku, Kairi, and the Fairy Godmother were onboard the ship, in orbit above Traverse Town.

Riku pressed a few more buttons, “Okay, artificial atmosphere and gravity are activated. You two can walk outside the ship.â€

The Fairy Godmother led a blindfolded Sora to the top of the ship. The Fairy Godmother waved her wand and began to cast her spell.

“Bibbity bop, bibbity bop, BIBBITY BOPPITY BOO!â€

A small tunnel appeared in front of them, with everything around it disappearing, except for one, lone, and very bright star. “Go through this tunnel, Riku,†spoke the Fairy Godmother. The ship slowly turned, and then proceeded through the tunnel.

After what felt like an eternity, the ship finally reached the star. “It’s directly in front of you, Sora,†Fairy Godmother replied, “Go on. Take off your blindfold and ask.†Sora gulped, took off his blindfold, opened his eyes, and recited what Gepetto told him:

“Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonightâ€

    “I wish that-â€

Suddenly there was a laughter coming from the star. It wasn’t a mocking laugh, but it sounded more surprised. The star got brighter and brighter, until the light faded, and in its place was a tall, blonde fairy, in a blue dress. The very same fairy that granted Gepetto’s wish to turn Pinnochio into a real boy.

“You didn’t have to go to all this trouble and formality to ask for my help,†she laughed.

Sora blushed a little, “Well, you weren’t exactly easy to find either,†He swallowed and said:

“Does this mean you’ll help us?â€

The fairy smiled sweetly, “Sora, you are the keyblade master. You and your friends have sacrificed so much to save everyone and everything to darkness, but I’m afraid that alone is not enough to earn my aid,â€

Sora lowered his head, but then quickly raised it, “No. I’m not giving up just because-â€

She raised her hand, “I’m not finished. However, the fact that you believed that wishes and dreams, however impossible they might be, can come true if you just believed, which is what really saved you and your friends, is different. That, young man, is what earns my aid. I know what you and your friends are wishing for. I also know that your time is almost up, so please, enter your vessel, and I will grant your wish.â€

Sora’s eyes widened and he smiled, “Thank you!†he yelled as quickly went back inside the ship. The Fairy Godmother smiled at the other fairy, “My work here is done. Thank you, milady.†She waved her wand, turned into a ball of light and dashed out of the tunnel, and went away to where she was needed next.

As soon as Sora closed the outdoor hatch, the fairy waved her wand, and touched the ship with it. The ship began to glow white, and then suddenly disappeared.

The ship was moving faster than it ever had before.

    “WHAT’S HAPPENING?†yelled Kairi.

“THIS IS LEON’S DOING! OUR TIME MUST BE UP!†yelled Riku.

In a matter of seconds the ship was docked back in the ship bay Leon prepared for them. Leon made a dash to the ship, and banged on the door.

“Sora! Kairi! Riku! Are yoe okay?!†he yelled.

The hatch opened, and Sora, Riku, and Kairi came out. “Yeah, we’re fine,†said Sora, “all five of us.â€

“Five?†Leon asked, “You mean you found a replacement for Kairi?â€

The trio nodded and looked at towards the ship. The first to come out was a young girl, about Kairi’s age and height. She had blonde hair just past her shoulders, and a white dress with a unique flower pattern at the end, with a drawing pad in one hand, and a young boy’s hand in the other. The boy had brownish-blonde hair, with a black shirt, white vest with a checkered pattern on it, and white and black pants on.
The girl smiled, did a courtesy to Leon, and said, “How do you do, sir? My name is Namine.

The boy also smiled, and did a polite bow, “My name is Roxas. How are you sir?â€

Guys and girls, I'm so sorry I didn't post this next chapter sooner, but we've had a few personal emergencies at our house (nothing major or anything, but it kept us on our toes all day). In any case, here's the next chapter:

"It's true. There is not any darkness in her heart. She is indeed a princess of heart. I do not know how you pulled this off, Sora, but it looks as though the ceremony will continue as planned with Namine being crowned our next queen," said a weary Merlin, who just emerged from a room where he gave Namine an examination.

Leon stared at Riku, Sora, and Roxas, "Okay, you three, spill it. I know for a fact that Namine is Kairi's nobody, just as Roxas is Sora's. What kind of trick are you guys trying to pull?"

"It's no trick, Leon. We're as real as you are now," replied Roxas. He then proceeded to tell Leon about the plan Roxas and Namine came up with, to have Sora and Kairi travel to Traverse Town, have the Fairy Godmother meet them there, talk with Gepetto to find out what and how Pinnochio became real, and then trace that method to find that same fairy, and have her grant that wish. Leon chuckled when Roxas finished.

"I should have known you came up with this, Roxas. It seemed a little strange that Sora would come up with a plan, let alone a good one, so quickly after finding out about our certain situation," said Leon. Sora looked surprised, then angry, "What's that supposed to mean?" he started. Everyone laughed

"To be honest, we had this planned for a month now," said Roxas. Everyone stopped laughing and stared at Roxas. He continued, "We were going to try and pull this off once we had a few other things set up, but when we found out about Kairi going to separated from Sora, we decided that we needed to speed up a bit. It worked out better than we hoped, actually. We both have had experience leading and making decisions, my leading a platoon of Samurai nobodies, and her coordinating replicas of people while I was in the alternate Twilight Town. We're a little unorthadox, but we're willing to adapt to the needs of the people." Sora and Leon looked at each other, thinking the same thing. Would Sora be willing to do the same thing if Kairi was in Namine's place? Sora said he would stay with her earlier, but could he follow through? I'm glad I don't have to find out right now, he thought.

Riku punched Roxas' shoulder, "Hey, you forgot one thing though," Everyone stared at him, "It's not going to be the same without you two. We're gonna miss you guys something fierce."

Sora smiled, "Yeah, man. Promise to write...or call or something. Some way to keep in touch. Kairi's gonna miss Namine pretty bad."

Roxas smiled, then looked at Leon, "Speaking of, where's Namine now?"

Merlin spoke, "Aerith and Tifa took her to the Royal Dressing Quarters to be fitted with the proper atire for the ceremony, which you should be doing right now, Roxas."

Leon nodded, "Good point. Come on, Cid and I will help you get ready. You two," he pointed at Riku and Sora, "go and find a place to sit. I think Kairi's already trying to find some seats with Yuffie, and I heard they're filling up fast."

Sora and Riku nodded, and took off as fast as they could.

In little to no time, the place filled up just after Riku, Kairi, and Sora found seats, in the front row. They were in a park area, completely open with a few trees with a white, marble piller in-between each tree, forming a circle around the seats, almost like a church in the open. The stage, just a few feet from the front row was large, grand, and had several angels imprinted on the wall.

Almost as quickly as the seats filled, the ceremony started. Riku, Kairi, and Sora were bored through what felt like an eternity of speeches, until they finally saw Roxas step into the view slightly at stage right, standing in a unique kind of armor, holding a helmet under his right arm. He looked very nervous, and about three seconds after he came into view, they saw why.

Namine walked, slowly, from stage left, wearing a flower crown, and a long white gown, carried by in part by Tifa and Aerith, who were wearing similar, white dresses. "It almost looks like a wedding!" whispered an excited Kairi. Yuffie, who was sitting next to Kairi, whispered excitedly, "No, but you're not far off on the reason why!" Riku, Sora, and Kairi stared at Yuffie, who giggled again, "I'll tell you when this is over. Don't worry, it shouldn't be much longer, about ten minutes!"

Namine knelt down to a man who was holding a box case. He opened it up to reveal a tiara, pointed on top which had the impression of wings on either ends and several jewels along the base, took the tiara out, took off the flower crown and placed the tiara on her head. He then closed the box, took a step back and bowed to her. Namine stood up, as well as the man who placed the crown, who then turned and made a motion to the stage where Roxas was. Roxas then walked, his head held high, to Namine and held her hand. The man the spoke, "Citizens of Radiant Garden, I present to you, our new ruler, Princess Namine, and her suitor, Prince Roxas," The crowd stood up and erupted in an applause. After a few minutes, a smiling Namine spoke, "Thank you, all of you. Before we go any further, there is something important that Roxas and I would like to address. Would our friend, Leon, please come up to the stage?" Leon, who was sitting a few rows back from Sora and the others, looked confused and hesitated. Roxas tried to ease the tension, "Come on now, Leon, don't make me come over there," Everyone laughed a little, and Leon reluctantly came onto the stage.

When he got to the stage, he kneeled before Namine, "Yes, Your Majesty?" She smiled at Roxas, who nodded and drew his sword. Many people seemed surprised, all were confused (including Leon) at what was happening. Roxas handed his sword to Namine, who then raised the blade directly over Leon's head. Now they got it.

"Leon, it's because of you that we had a chance, not only at the crown and helping the people of Radiant Garden, but because of us being together after what feels like years of being apart. We are deeply honored by your generosity, not just for us, but what you've been doing to help before we arrived. Leon, would you honor us by accepting the title of 'Sir Leon of Radiant Garden'?" There was a brief pause as everyone stared in wonder, but the pause was broken by Leon answering, "No, Your Majesty, I can't accept that title,"

There was look of shock among the people as Leon said this. There would've been verbal protests if he hadn't spoken again, "I can't accept that title because...my name isn't Leon," He gulped, and said, "My name is Squall Lionheart," Another look of shock spread among the people, including Sora, Kairi, Riku, but none more surprised than Yuffie. She always teased him about him not calling himself 'Squall' and now he goes and does this!

Namine spoke, "Would you then, instead, accept the title of 'Sir Lionheart of Radiant Garden'?"

Squall replied, "If that is Her Majesty's wish, than yes." Namine smiled again, and placed the blade gently on Squall's shoulder, "I hearby name thee, Sir Lionheart, Captain of our Defenses, here on Radiant Garden." She handed the sword back to Roxas, who sheathed it. Squall stood up, said "Thank you, Your Majesty," and then people once again, stood up and cheered, none more so than the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee.

A few minutes after a red-faced Squall sat back down and the cheering stopped, Namine announced, "We will now have a brief intermission, and after that we can proceed with the wedding. If you need to do something, please do it now."

That got the their attention. Kairi spoke to Yuffie, "I thought you said Roxas and Namine weren't getting married! They're way too young as it is!"

"They aren't," said Squall, as he walked towards them, "You missed the announcement last night: Zack proposed to Aerith last night, and after everything that's happened between them, they're getting married in a few minutes."

"WHAT?!" the trio screamed at the same time.

"I know, it seems more than a little sudden," Squall said, rubbing his ears, "but believe me, it's okay. They've known each other since they were kids, they know everything about each other, the only that was missing already was the official announcement and actually being married. Don't worry, they know what they're doing."

Ten minutes passed and everyone was back in their seats, with organ music playing in the air. Doves were gliding by, spreading falling flower petals as they went by. The bridesmaids (including Tifa), came one by one into their proper positions, and to everyone's surprise, a surprisingly handsome Cloud, hair combed back to where only a few spikes were visible on his forehead,in a tux, took the place of best man. Even though it was hard to tell where she was, it wasn't hard to find Tifa in the line of bridesmaids, who was turning very red at the sight of Cloud. Roxas somehow appeared without anyone's notice, taking the position as the ringbearer, looking very confused (Cid didn't really take very long to explain his role).

Soon Zack appeared, looking almost exactly like Cloud, save the fact that his hair was black, and took his place next to Cloud. Finally, the moment everyone waited for arrived, when Aeirth began walking down the isles. She was wearing a dress very similar to Namine's when she was crowned, only she had white sleeves and a white veil covering her face. She walked down the isles, Namine following behind as the flower girl.

When she arrived at the area of the stage where Zack and the others were, it became clear to everyone how much the two loved each other from the look in their eyes.

The preacher said a few words that, unfortunately, nobody but Zack and Aerith could hear. They saw Aerith and Zack nod, mouth 'I do' and then the two kissed. That much everyone understood, and once again erupted into applause.

I'm glad you all are enjoying the story, but that's not the last chapter. The story will end today, however (assuming I can post it; for some reason, I'm having trouble accessing the site). Plus, you'll know it's the end because of the special surprise at the end. Here's the next chapter:

Riku, Sora, and Kairi were sitting on the now-too-familiar-bench near the fountain, laughing. They had just left the reception of Zack and Aerith's wedding. The sun was setting, and they couldn't believe it was over.

"Did you see Cloud's face when Tifa took his hand and asked him to dance? I"ve never seen his face so red before!" laughed Kairi.

"Cloud? Did you see Tifa?" replied Riku, "I've seen her kick a boulder in two many times without flinching, but I'm certain I saw her knees shaking when she asked Cloud." Everyone laughed at that.

"That was funny, but you should have seen Squall just before Zack and Aerith arrived. Yuffie called Squall 'Leon', just to spite him and to see what would happen. He got so angry that he chased after her with his Gunblade, and nearly sliced the wedding cake in two!" laughed Sora.

Riku wiped a tear from his eye, "Yeah, this is definitely one of our more memorable Christmases."

Sora suddenly stopped laughing and stood up, "Christmas! Oh no, I forgot!" He turned to face Kairi and Riku, "We gotta get back home! My parents are expecting us for dinner! I'm already on thin ice with them for being gone for over a year without them knowing, and if I don't show up for this, I might not ever see another one!"

Riku and Kairi stood up, also concerned. This was serious. They knew Sora's parents always made good on their threats. "We better hurry and find Merlin!" said Riku.

"Don't bother," said a voice from above, "I heard it all! Ears, even old ones like mine, don't miss that much!" Merlin appeared in a puff of smoke, and with him, a Highwind gummi ship. "Go ahead and use this to head home. I'll tell the others you had to leave, and I'll make sure that you have the green by the time you leave the atmosphere," Sora smiled, "Thanks, Merlin!" The three of them hopped onboard, and took off.

They were traveling at top speeds from Radiant Garden to Destiny Islands, this time with Sora at the healm. The stars were passing by like fireflies as Sora flew, but everything was quiet. Nobody even heard the sound of the engines. Suddenly, Sora called out on the loud speaker, "Everyone! Look out the window on the starboard side," Confused as to why Sora would sound so excited, Riku and Kairi searched out the window, and then gasped at what they saw.

"I...I don't believe it!" managed Riku. Kairi said, "You've gotta be kidding me!"

Dashing through the stars, on a one horse open sleigh, pulled by eight tiny reindeer, Santa Claus saw and waved to Sora and party, and then blew past them, going to the world of Neverland. Sora laughed maniacally, "In your face, Riku! And you said there's no such thing as Santa!" more laughter from Sora caused Riku and Kairi to look at each other.

"That's the last time we let him fly the plane," said Riku.

After an hour of flying, the gummi ship landed on the beach of Destiny Islands, the sun setting fast. The three of them ran back to Sora's house, and made it with a few minutes to spare.

Sora's mother was waiting for them, looking really annoyed, "You three were cutting it close. And were were you the last two days, young man?!" She looked at Sora, her eye twitching. Sora gulped, "Well...you see, I...umm..."

"It's our fault, Mom." said a voice from behind Sora and the others. The three of them turned around.

Roxas and Namine, in their normal dress clothes, walked forward to Sora's surprised mother, "We kind of had an emergency and needed Sora's and the others help, and it took a lot longer than we thought. Sorry about that."

Sora was surprised, "How did you two get here so fast? We didn't see anyone follow us!"

Namine smiled and shrugged a little, "Old habits die hard, Sora."

Sora's mother sighed, and smiled, "Well...if it was to help someone...and I assume you two are staying for dinner, right?"

"If it's not too much trouble. We'd be more than happy to help prepare," said Namine.

Sora's mother shook her head, "I wouldn't dream of it, dear, but thank you for offering," she looked at Sora, "if only some others would do their chores..." Sora was confused, "Huh?"

She sighed, "Never mind. I'll go tell your father that we'll be having two more for dinner." She walked off and went to the kitchen, leaving Sora and the others sighing in relief.

Kairi smiled, "Thanks, Namine. You too, Roxas. I'm surprised you two were able to come here. I wouldn't have thought you'd be able to, since you're ruling Radiant Garden and all."

"Not as surprised as Mom was," said Roxas, "She's seen me before. Besides, we managed to convince them to let us come here for a couple of hours. We might not be able to see each other again for awhile, but since it's Christmas, we should probably make the most of it now."

Everyone smiled, then laughed when they heard a male voice from the kitchen yell, "My second WHAT? Mary, we only have one son!"

Kairi collapsed on her bed. She was tired, stuffed, and drained after all that had happened over the last few weeks. Despite all of that, she was happy with all that happened, especially now, since she didn't have to be queen. Namine was better at it than her, anyway. Namine can have a life of her own now with Roxas, and Kairi can start getting to know Sora better...

There was a tapping on Kairi's window. She drearily sat up and looked at her alarm clock: 1:35 a.m. Wow, she thought, I must have dosed off pretty fast. It's already been a couple of hours. She got up and wondered why someone was throwing pebbles at her room on the second floor...

She opened the window and looked down. Sora, in his black, magic clothes (holding his jacket), was standing a few feet away from her house. He motioned for her to come down. Surprised, Kairi closed the window and left the house. It was a good thing the Mayor wasn't going to be home for a couple of days.

"Roxas and Namine want us to come to Radiant Garden through a portal. They say they have something for us, and have already gone ahead without us," Sora whispered, "They said to be at the beach in ten minutes."

Kairi yawned, "Okay, Sora. Lead the way,"

The two walked to the beach, and by the time they got there, they found that portal, waiting for them. They quickly went through it, and emerged through the other side at the same fountain they've been at so many times. However, the fountain wasn't turned on, and it was much colder now than it was earlier.

Sora's clothes started to glow, and then changed into the Christmas outfit he wore earlier. Kairi wasn't so lucky; she was still wearing her pink outfit, and was starting to shake.

Sora finally realized why she was shivering, "Oh! Sorry, Kairi! Here, put this on, it'll help!" He then gave her the magic jacket and she put it on. She stopped shivering, smiled and said, "Thanks, Sora. It helps-Oh!" Suddenly her clothes started to glow and in a small explosion of stars, her outfit changed.

While wearing Sora's jacket, her pink outfit turned red. Her shoes were now snow boots, she was wearing red mittens, a Santa-cap, and just about everything had frills on the end. Sora looked away to keep from staring, "Wow...that's never happened before."

Kairi examined herself, "Well...if nothing else this will keep me warm for awhile. Thanks, Sora...why is your face turning red?"

Sora, still looking away, said, "Umm...it's a little warm out here for me,"

Uh-huh..., Kairi thought, raising an eyebrow. She smiled, sat down on the bench, and stared at the clouds forming in the night sky, "Do you know what Roxas and Namine have planned?"

Sora sat down next to her, "Nope. After finding out that they had that little 'scheme' planned for over a month, I kinda stopped asking questions."

There was an awkward silence between the two, then Sora, staring at the ground, said, "Do you remember, a couple of days ago, when we spoke here? What it was we said?"

Kairi's smile faded a little, "Telling your friend that she couldn't come back home is a little hard to forget, Sora,"

Sora, still looking at the ground, nodded, "Right, but do you remember just before that? I said I had something to tell you, but because of what happened, I never really had the opportunity to tell you."

Kairi's eyes widened slightly, "Oh...no, I forgot that part. What was it you wanted to say, Sora?"

Sora shook his head, "Not want, 'needed'. Since I've returned home, and you and Riku left to help the others, I've done a lot of thinking...much more than the two minutes a day I usually do," they both smiled, "and I found myself thinking of you more and more. Then I tried to sneak in and...well, you saw how well that worked. We ended up having a fight because of it. Our first one, and the result of it was, after looking out the window was seeing you kissing Riku,"

Kairi looked surprised, then scared, "Sora, you should know, that was because Riku-"

Sora nodded, "I know. Roxas told me, but as soon as I saw that, I felt my world crumble around me. The act was simple, quick, and since it was a misinterpretation, shouldn't have hurt me like that. But it did, and I couldn't figure out why. I mean, we both care about each other, mutually, but since we haven't had any time to spend together, why did I feel like I was being tortured by you caring about somebody else that way? I couldn't figure it out."

Sora lowered his head, and sighed. Kairi stared at Sora. He seemed different from the goofy, sword wielding hero everyone made him out to be. He looked a little bit more mature, somewhat more than human than she remembered him being, even with the powers he possessed. This looked like it weighed heavily on his soul.

Sora raised his head, but didn't look at Kairi, "Roxas and I had a talk about that act, and like I said, he straightened me out. After we had it though, I realized something that I wasn't sure about until then, and your telling me that you had to leave just confirmed it: I know I've said this to you before, and I'm not sure how to tell you this the right way, but..." Sora hesitated. He just didn't know how to say this.

Kairi turned a little, and leaned towards him. "Yes?" she whispered.

Sora gulped, "I need you Kairi. I've tried to go on without you before, when I thought I'd lost you, but I always found myself seeing you smiling in my head. I miss you when you're not around, when I can't hear you, when I can't feel you near me. Actually, that's not entirely true," he looked Kairi in the eyes, quickly prayed and said:

"I don't just need you. Kairi...I love you."

Kairi didn't move for the next several seconds. This just didn't seem real.

Kairi sat back against the back of the bench, staring at the clouds, while Sora stared at the ground.

"Sora?" she finally said, smiling a little, looking at him. He looked up at her, "Yeah?"

"Did you know that there are a few things that I wanted for Christmas that I never received?" she said. Sora was confused. What did this have to do with anything? "Umm...no. What?"

"One of the things is snow. I've been on the islands all my life and have never seen snow up close."

"Oh," said Sora, "Well, I think I can take care of that." He raised his hand a few feet in front of him. The Kingdom keyblade appeared in front of him. He pointed the keyblade into the air. The keyblade glowed for a second, and a giant snowflake fired straight into the air. It went all the way up until it hit the clouds. The clouds then grew darker and darker, until finally white flakes started to fall out.

"Wow...so this is snow," she leaned towards Sora and gave him a peck on the cheek, "Thanks, Sora." He blushed a little.

Kairi stood up, "Another thing is that I've never had a Christmas dance in the snow. I've been to dance at a wedding, but that's all I've ever been to."

Sora smiled, and stood up. He placed his hands on Kairi's waist, while she wrapped her arms around, over his shoulders. They danced a slow two-step, to whatever music was playing in their head, with nobody else around but them.

"There's one last thing on my Christmas list," Kairi whispered, Sora's face just a an inch or two away from hers. She cupped his cheek in one of her hands, and pressed her lips next to his, with the lights of the fountain growing dim to finally just turning off.

"Merry Christmas, Sora. I love you, too." she whispered, the two of them surrounded by darkness.

They kissed again, and while they did, the clouds above them parted a bit, until Kingdom Hearts shown through the clouds, it's pale blue light illuminating the area. The two of them looked up, smiled, and then kissed again.

A few blocks away, Namine and Roxas smiled. They let go of the fountain controls and quietly went back to the castle, holding hands. It took awhile, but those two finally found each other.

    THE END
Merry Christmas, and here's a final gift:

Thanks so much! Really, I'm just honored that you were all willing to read it. I haven't had much luck with writing so far, so the fact that you were willing to respond to it, let alone read and rate, just fills me up. Again, thanks, and Merry Christmas!

    I loved it!!

Aww, those two are perfect for eachother. *sigh*

It was adorable. Especially when Sora confessed his love for Kairi.

It got me all tingly inside.

Again, thanks for reading it. It was fun thinking up the story, but you guys and girls (some literally) screaming 'MORE' was very helpful. I'll think about what else to write next, and let you know as soon as I can.

Kairi2011, sorry, I haven't had much time to read yours, and at the same time, my computer's acting funny, so it'll be awhile before I can read your story. I saw a little bit of the first chapter, though, and it looks promising. I'll read it as soon as I can. Promise!

My gawd, this was a good read all the way... You can tell I really appreciate the fate you gave Roxas and Namine, it made me extremly happy inside! ^^ Very true to the canon parts of the KH story too, this could may as well happen. Very nice idea with the wishing star too, it tied up the plan very well.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas man - and if you happen to write another KH fanfiction you tell me immediatly. >:3

The KH series is important to me, also. I wanted this story, even if it is fan-based, to stay as true, and at the same time likely, as it possibly could to the game.

Funny you should mention that, I'm actually trying to figure out what to do next. I'm trying to think of some new ideas of what to write, or shorten some old ones by drawing them out. I'll try and open up a vote thread once I've gotten everything straightened out, and let you guys decide the order.

Roxas and Namine were trying to set Sora and Kairi up for a moment alone together. I was trying to make it seem like the two were taking a long time, so Sora and Kairi would eventually have to talk to each other, but looking back I didn't write that part as well as I could have. Sorry about the confusion.
