Kingdom Hearts II sora v. roxas

not too long ago, i read a thread that the roxas v sora fight in kh2 did not exist. they said that it was all in his head. i think i'm the only one who disagrees with this theory. i am willing to plead my case. i represent that it was real.

Exibit A: certian nobodies can stop time. an example is when roxas is in twilight town. axel would stop time. namine could because she was different and DiZ could because it was his town

Exibit B: the organization can teleport sora to a different looking place. when sora faced xemnas alone, he was transpoted to a different place. roxas could do the same thing as xemnas because he was in the organization.

Exibit C: it happened when it was after the fight. i beleive this was the exact quote:
goofy: you disapeared for awhile, and me and donald had to fight some nobodies.
sora went missing. he was transported to another place.

Exibit D: that world was the same world is where roxas fought the twilight thrown. he picked because it was familair to him

with all this evidence i hve put up, i wish to prove that the battle between sora and roxas was real in kingdom hearts 2

 

hmm...I'd say that it really happened. Sora dissappered out of site from Donald and Goofy while they had to fight the heartless and nobodies.

 

Im pretty sure the time freezing was because they were just in a virtual town. Kind of like pressing pause on a game really.

But I do belive the fight was real. Final mix prooves enough.

 

I had just always assumed that it happened. It reminds me of the start of KH1 when he was in that world then I think he like woke up and was like was that a dream? And well it wasn't. And if KH pulled something like that before then what would stop them from doing it again.

 

This should really be moved to the KH 2 section of the forums as it's a theory regarding the game itself.

For your stopping time point, aside from Namine, everyone there that could "stop" time did not do it on their own accord. Since DiZ created the computer generated world, he could control it at will with the push of a button. As for Axel and Riku, they just tampered with the system in order to get inside. As for Namine, her powers appear to warp reality in some way and aren't ever fully explained.

Regarding the teleport evidence, Xemnas was one with Kingdom Hearts at that time and was fueled by a near limitless supply of power. If yo urecall from the first game, Xehanort's Heartless actually constructed a life-like and perverted version of Destiny Islands. Yes all the Organization members are able to teleport and create other dimensions (Betwixt and Between), and Sora and Roxas did happen to fight on the stain glass platform of Sora, etc. so there may be a slight possibility especially since Roxas was also without physical shape at the beginning of Sora's game play.

Your thrid piece of evidence is difficult to refute, but "disappear" could be understood as being ambiguous. Perhaps Sora just wandered off (I'll touch more on it later).

As for your fourth, it would seem so far that characters visit the stained glass place when they're asleep-- both Sora and Roxas wake up after dreaming about said place. If Roxas wanted familiarity he would've taken Sora back to Twilight Town. I think the battle ground for that fight is meant to be more symbolic as opposed to be taken in a literal sense. What is seen is more of an inner struggle within Sora between himself and his Nobody. I've always assumed that Sora zoned out entirely and wandered away from Donald and Goofy, but it is possible that he was taken to a place similar to Betwixt and Between.

 

If Wikipedia is correct, than Roxas' presence was somehow triggered by Axel's death. Go look it up.

 

It deffinately happened- where else would Sora go and plus Roxas (as you said) can teleport and make portals. If it was fake then what happend to Sora when Goofy and Donald fought the nobodies.

It Totally happened! Why wouldnt it happen? I watched something 2 days ago, something about Roxas wakin up after Axels death or something.

 

Well, you have me convinced. Especially Exhibit C was very convincing.

 

There's one thing I'm not sure about... Did Donald and Goofy REALLY be able to defeat enemies by themselves? However I guess it really happened or Sora was warped into the future by Roxas inside him.

I think that the fight really did happen! and you made some good points!

 

it happened, but Roxas didn't teleport to the station of awakening because it was familiar to him. He teleported there because it was within Sora's heart, so whichever one of them won the battle, would get control over the body, as in if Roxas won, then it would be Roxas that had come back instead of Sora, and the reason that Roxas wanted control, was because he wanted vengeance on what was left of the Organization.

 

why would he want revenge? he was probably fitting in but he left to find sora. thats why they fought... i also think that it was a dream that could have been dreamp up by both of them because if u think about it they are the same entity and therefore would have the same dreams... how else would roxas find sora.........? its one of those things we probably wont know till kh3 and even then we probably wont find out.......
