358/2 Days Sora using Roxas's keyblades in this game during KH3

Now that Roxas has been merged into Sora, do you think Sora will be able to use the keyblades from 358/2 Days in KH3? I think it would be nice if he could use keyblades like the Omega Weapon.

 

Um. Roxas was merged into Sora after the prologue in KH2. How do you think he was able to dual wield in his drive forms?

 

No....Roxas became asleep...he didn't merge with roxas...and sora could use two keyblades because of his new clothes that the fairies had given him....then later in the game when axel died..Roxas woke up...and then he fought Sora....and then at the end of the game (well almost the end) Roxas merges back to Sora

 

Well while roxas was asleep, he was still inside Sora, because after beating Saix, riku points to Sora's heart, telling him that Roxas is within him. Besides, if he wasn't inside Sora, then Sora wouldn't have been able to wake up.

 

Not really inside Sora more a presence of consciousness. An considering Roxas existed from before Chain of Memories...Sora seemed to move around perfectly fine before without him before his mind got screwed with, which makes me wonder was it really necessary for Roxas to merge with him in the first place?!

 

The point that Sora and Roxas merge back together, is when Namine, Kairi, Sora and Roxas are talking, and Sora finally meets Roxas. The blue light around Sora and Roxas as Roxas disappears gives it away.

 

Yes I know. But in 358/2 days, after Roxas absorbs Xion, Sora's memory restoration comes to a complete stop, so the only way to wake him up would to have roxas merge with sora. And Xion was created out of leaked memories from Sora, so the only way for those memories to return is if xion merges with Sora, and since Roxas absorbed Xion Sora would have to merge with him.

 

Roxas never merged with Xion...she quiet clearly states in the end that she was returning to Sora not Roxas

 

I think Roxas had already fused with Sora during the end of the prologue. The reason Roxas fought Sora in TWTNW was because the death of Axel had awaken him and faced Sora to answer his question (why DiZ chose Sora over Roxas)

 

Anyone here think that by KH3 Sora will be able to use the keyblades Roxas uses in 358/2 Days?

 

Probably not, because most of the weapons seems derived from fellow organization members and seriously when have they ever passed over weapons from the other games aside from Oath keeper, Oblivion and the kingdom heart oh and the card card in COM which really doesn't count.

You might want to stay away from the Days section then. Even if someone puts spoiler tags, you'll still be tempted to look and ruin it for yoursef. And then there's the people who don't use spoilers.

On topic: It would jsut be nice for Sora to use Oblivion and Oathkeeper. Maybe he can in KH3 with a Riku/Kairi combo. But remember that before Roxas fully merged with Sora, he still influenced him. (Skateboarding, Sora knowing his name, crying about his Twilight Town friends.) So now that he's fully merged, he could probably dual wield without driving. Remember the end of the Xemnas fight when he grabbed Riku's WtD? I think that was hinting at it.

 

How would that hint at it? Riku and Sora have managed to use Roxas' Oathkeeper and Oblivion no problem, without them automactically returning to Roxas' hand (Which we know can happen because of the scene in the simulated twilight town.). I think that a keyblade weilder can theoretically weild anyones keyblade, due to their similar status.

On topic: I doubt it. Even outside of Kingdom Hearts, Square rarely use the same weapon designs between games, with a few exceptions.

 

Yeah, but I bet 358/2 Days' keyblades would look awesome with PS3 or some other consoles' graphics.

Agreed...if anything we'll probably see him using Terra's blade at some point which I think would be pretty kewl it's like the Swis!Army knife of keyblades!!!

 

Wonder if it will have a keychain? And frankly I'd prefer it if he had a keychain-ified version of Ven's keyblade. He'd probably be able to execute some crazy *** combos.
