Well, I thought it was really obvious that I'm new, ever since I made this thread to fish for participants for my RP.

I just wanted make it clear that, if you did RP as Panty and Stocking (which I know now that you won't), you'd have to keep it clean as possible without breaking character(that show's as NSFW as you can get without it being hentai).

Now I'll have to wait for someone who likes RP AND Magical Girls. Those people seem to be non-existent.

Alright newbie, let me teach you how this works. The SpamZone community is VERY different than the RP community, and yes, they're two different communities on the same site. There's also very little overlap. The people in the SpamZone really don't care about role playing. They care about making funny jokes, putting each other down, cleavage images, video games, and animated gifs because words are sometimes hard.

The role-players in the RP Arena do not come over here often. If you want to advertise an RP, you're aiming at the wrong demographic. I don't know if there's a way to advertise one in the RP arena, but that's where you want to advertise.

don't worry about DA, he thinks he runs the place. threads like this are cool here, but few people are gonna sign up for an RP from here, but there is some overlap with members, so you might get lucky. don't worry about having it closed. it's a fun thread all in all.

It's that I can not simply go around asking random users if they wanna join.

I needed to know if they liked the topic, so that's why I made this thread. Plus my two only known friends that like this said no to participating.

 

Don't worry about Ben, he can't hold all of his assumptions and just likes to word things like he's contradicting me, then not realize he didn't contradict me at all. He's also about as harmless as a lamb sleeping in a field of flowers.

Also, Nova runs this place. We all know this and Makaze is his Corvo.

But he's right, you don't have to close the thread, it's an okay thread- it's just not going to work for getting peeps to RP. Even some mods acknowledge the split in communities, and it's not like it's on purpose, they just have interest in RPing and we have an interest in random crap. We never really overlap. Unless Jayn, one of the admins of this site, posts here in the SpamZone. Then suddenly RP USER FLOOD WHADUH.

But yeah, SpamZone, you really can post anything so threads like this talking about magical girls? A-okay! You don't think what you're going to say is going to do much in the way of making a thread? Post in the Lounge where "WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TALK ABOUT" mentality runs king. You want to RP? Go to the RP Arena. And of course, there's other stuff to do here too. Many very talented people roam this website from should-be-pro video creators, great image editors, people who know software, couple people make their own good music! Hell, we even have our own MineCraft serverer. Just stick around, listen to people, and I'm sure in no time you'll flock to a bunch of people who share your interests.

Not going to bother reading the rest of this thread that I missed, because apparently I need to move to Uzbekistan. That aside, if someone is "obviously new", it's probably best to keep things on the positive side otherwise they'll end up feeling shitty/uncomfortable. Well on that note, I'll be leaving for my flight now. I will miss you all.
