Sony VS Nintendo

In terms of gaming, it depends what you look at. The Wii ****s money, so does the DS. So many profits for Nintendo, and there is the past for Nintendo. But they are currently concentrating on the casual gamers and leaving out the people who were there for them for 2 decades. So bad Nintendo.

While the PS3 isn't doing massively, but it's gaining ground and Sony are doing things right now, even if it's a bit late. And the PS2 is still selling. So Sony aren't doing to shabby. And the PSP is also gaining ground.

But which is better? You can't really compare companies like you can consoles.

 

I voted for Sony. I just like their stuff better.

For awhile I was into Nintendo stuff but after I got introduced to Playstation I liked it better.

Mainly because I am a HUGE Fan of RPG Games and Fighting Games. and Playstation has lots of them!:D

And really good ones too!:D

 

I voted for Sony though I do so hate the console wars. I enjoy more games from the PS2, PSP and PS3 though than I do on the Wii and DS. The games are always what sells me and Wii games just don't keep my attention long.

 

O_O. That's interesting. I thought the Wii had everyone's attention(except my cousin).

 

Sony has amazing innovative stuff...and in a sense I believe Sony might make more money than Nintendo because all Nintendo's got is games. Sony has the luxury to be "okay" at making t.v.'s in such even if they are good at doing so and still make money from games.

i voted nintendo. i mean without it, would we have FF series? no. would we have kh? no. (i mean so many characters in it are from nintendo games and the FF series) but i do like sony. i mean it has kh2 on it. =p

 

Other than the GBA knock-offs, its purely playstation...is it not?

The earliest FF's were on the nes, snes, and etc first. It didnt become purely playstation till FF7

Those games originated from Squaresoft and Square-Enix respectively. Sony just makes the systems.

I liked Nintendo back in the day with the SNES and stuff. I just lost interest when there were so many repeat games etc and well, something was lost in the 3d world of Nintendo stuff. I still enjoy some Nin games but when I'm done, I'm done and never play them again. It's sad I could feel I'd want to play Mario 1-3 again perhaps but don't like any of the current Mario stuff at all. The only Nin game that has endured for me is the Zelda games and a couple of those were disappointments.

Atari ...I remember when we took out that system my parents had and I played all these old games. They were fun though wow, video games have come a long way.
