    Thanks EvilMan.:)

Another reason why I prefer Sony is because I am a HUGE fan of RPG Games.:)

Sony has so many and Nintendo hardly has any...

Plus Sony has so many great ones too.

    sorry i don't know the answer, i don't have a PSP.

anyways, i have a question of my own: i've heard about HDMI cables for the PS3 to connect to the TV. i heard that it suppsedly makes the graphics better and i looked it up, there was a Sony brand one that was like $50 and there was like a $10 one. anyone know if an HDMI cable is even worth it? if so, would it matter which brand or should i just get any?

Custom Firmware has been released for the 3000. Yummy stuff, as long as you're not 5.50 firmware.

Oh look, I now have a reason to buy a slim PSP. I love my phat and all but it's too big. I'll keep it as my emulator PSP and put *oh mah gosh* GAEMS on the slim.

The Wii is Dec. More for when people come over or with a sibling, not full time on your own.
    PSP is a GREAT buy.

Genuine post. I've been meaning to get one of the newer psp bundles, but unless I can put cfw I probably won't. Yes I'm a huge pirate and I love it. Going from not paying for games to suddenly having to pay is a huge change I can't deal with.

    lol.

CFW for 3000s has been released in the form of a Homebrew enabler, but only for 5.03 firmware. Currently 3000s are not sold with 5.03 or above firmware, so get one now.

In short, it works like this:

Put specific picture on memory stick and file in memory stick root.

Look at picture in a specific way.

    Watch the screen turn green.

Run a homebrew that turns it into temporary full custom firmware to allow ISO playing.

When you turn off the system, please repeat.

Well...I am extremely frustrated to no end with my wii. If it wasn't for my Tales game I would probably throw the thing and smash it(or trade it in, which sounds more fruitful xD)

It has no RPG'S...And I mean serious RPG's, not crap like oopona, or whatever it's called. This is horrible, and my PS2 is getting no love with the RPG's that come out with it, so I'm buying(hopefully) A 60gig PS3, which means I could still enjoy my Ps2 games, without the Ps2. The wii is too focused on family games...they don't give RPG players some love....but the PS3 will change all that. I can't wait, and can't believe I found a PS3 60gig in my closest gamestop store :) ....now, if I buy it I can play Valkiria Chronicles. Regarding to the wii....I'll keep it...so it can gather dust, 'cause it seems it's no good for me...Unless they release 3 good RPG's in the next month in Trading it in.

How much does the 60GB PS3 cost?
Also i recommend you to keep your PS2 for your saves etc.

Well that shouldnt come as a surprise. Nintendo hasnt been too heavy with RPGs since the SNES. The DS on the other hand has more RPGs than I can count. And good ones too, not the mediocre spin-offs and such. But yes, like Luka says, keep your ps2. Much easier just keeping it and not having to spend extra on adapters.

Basically 400 dollars. BTW what do you mean by saves?

If you mean the Memory card ones, I could just buy the adapter(since I don't have that much PS2 games). Most of the time I can't stand console overload, it becomes cluterred. And I think the gamestop deal seems pretty good...I hear the PS3's 60 gig are rare to find.

    Thanks for the imput.

Hey Guys, I'm getting a PS3 for my Birthday.

And I was wondering what PS3 games you guys recommend.

I'm mainly a fan of Hack N Slash RPGs. A HUGE Fan in fact.

Do you guys know of any good ones?

Star Wars The Force Unleashed. Not the most replayable thing ever but I had fun.
    Assassin's Creed maybe?
    Prince of Persia?
Just about anything rated M that doesn't involve guns? Heavenly Sword! That one! Get it. I don't have it but I've heard it's...pretty good.

Oddly enough, I can't think of many hack and slash PS3 games. O.o

Well...there's folklore...exactly what you're looking for. Valkiria Chronicles isn't exactly an RPG, but it's strategy and real-time action.

And there's also others that are action, but could fit the mold...such as Prince of persia, eternal sonata...ect.
