Although the gaming community has known of this for a while, details have just been revealed in the latest issue of Nintendo Power. Bioware's Sonic RPG for the DS seems to be very interesting, and as much as I dislike the the past few years of Sonic games, this seems to be shaping up quite well. And Big the Cat isn't an idiot this time. So the game is called Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Knuckles has been echidna-napped along with 6 of the 7 Chaos Emeralds. The game is split into 2 acts. The first one being very remiscent of earlier Sonic games with the msuic, areas, and everything. The second act is very dark and nothing is known about it. Several new characters will be appearing. One of which is called Shade. Not much is known about her, including whether she as an friend or foe. Considering the fact that it's an RPG, the idea of speed that has been with the Sonic seires is not going to play as major a role as it usually does. Only at specific points. This may turn out to be a good Sonic game among all the bad ones (excluding Rush). It comes out sometime this fall.

Yeah. It's turn-based and all that jazz. And they are making him smarter so they can make it a better game, hopefully changing the Sonic universe forever.
Eh, the idea of a Sonic RPG doesn't appeal to me. ...come to think of it, the other ones werent that great either.
What the hell Knuckles being kidnapped??????? come on xD He better go down fighting...i mean he does have a beat the crap out of anything that moves lifestyle anywaaaay about the game I have mixed feelings about this, I just can't see sonic meshing well with rpg
I think this will be a good game what with the beautiful graphics and the fact that the people making it are the ones who made Jade Empire , Knights of the old republic and Mass Effect... :)
