Sonic on Earth - IC

He frowned when Kallen called him a treasure hunter. "I'm not a treasure hunter. And it ain't a normal emerald, either. Also...If your friend's so interested in me, which I wouldn't be surprised at, since so many people play my games, then I think I can make a deal with him if he goes my way." He smiled, before asking, "Where is he?"

 

Kallen tugged on his arm, "He should be at home at this hour. Lulu doesn't do much. He works for the government."

 

"Then let's go! Show me the way." He said, before getting a bit of a guess of where he has to go.

 

Kallen smiled and headed back to the train. "Well, c'mon. Lulu will be soooo excited to hear about this. I'm sure he's bound to know something."

Lelouch settled in at home. He ignored the piles of paper work on his desk and closed his eyes. A vivid image of the blue hedgehog coming to mind. "A blue hedgehog? Impossible..."

 

"Bound ain't good enough. Making a move is good en--Whoa whoa!" He followed Kallen to the train. "I just wasted my time by coming here and getting nothing! Aw darn it..." He hung his head down, depressed at his failed work. He then got an idea. "Hey, those big rail things lead back to the big building place, right?"

 

Kallen laughed, "Nah, if you hadn't come here, you wouldn't have met me! Now...which big building? New York is full of big buildings."

 

"New what? I meant that big place with all the big build--I'll just run there. C'mon, let's go." He said, heading up the stairs to the train tracks.

 

Kallen followed, "R-run! But we should wait for the train!"

Blaze wandered the streets and sighed, "This place is large...I'll never find anything here..." Her mind went to the last time she was brought to a strange world and she'd met Sonic. I hope I don't have to see him for a while...his happiness would just get on my nerves.

 

"Waiting ain't my thing. Besides, I can run faster than anything in this world. C'mon!" He waited for Kallen to grab his hand.

 

Jet wandered aimlessly around Station Square, his Extreme Gear held in his right arm. "This place is huge! Might be a good place to do some treasure hunting..." Jet said, thinking out loud. He shrugged the thought off and hopped on his Extreme Gear, riding toward what looked like a train station. He sped inside the station, riding up toward the train tracks. He jumped up and over the train onto the tracks and began to grind on them with his board. Eventually he reached the Mystic Ruins, a large, wide-open area full of space to ride. He jumped off the tracks and onto the ground. Next to him was a wooden staircase leading back up to the tracks. On the staircase he saw none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. There was someone else with him, but Jet disregarded the person. Jet walked up the stairs, his board held in his arms. "Well, Well, if it isn't 'The Fastest Thing Alive'. What brings you to a place like this?" Jet asked, a sarcastic tone in his voice.

OOC: There we go. Guess I'd better read more from now on.

Out of who knows where, Sonic took out his Rider glasses, and put them on his head, not really wearing them, as he usually didn't in Sonic Riders. He turned to see an old rival. "And look who it is, Mr. Green chicken man." He smirked. "I should be asking you. I'm here to go look for a chaos emerald."

 

Jet smirked. "A Chaos Emerald, huh? Mind if I join you? I haven't hunted for any kind of treasure in weeks." Jet asked, hiding his true intention.

He sighed. "Tsk tsk tsk, Jet Jet Jet, how long have I've known you? I don't know, but I've known you long enough to know you're a backstabbing rogue. Sorry, but no free rides!" He quickly picked up Kallen(Pick-up-Elise-in-Next-Gen style)and using his ultra sonic super speed, sped through the train tracks, arriving in Station Square Train Station in mere seconds. He jumped out and landed on the ground, before running out the building and letting Kallen down. "Now THAT'S how I roll!"

 

Jet's smile still hadn't left his face. "Guess the Hedgehog's not a dumb as he looks. Ah, well. Maybe there's some treasure around here..." Jet said, thinking out loud. He hopped on his extreme gear and rode it up a mountain. From there he looked around to see if there was anything worth checking out. He found a floating island that was connected to the ruins by a bridge. On the island he saw some large and green. "Looks like something I might like!" He said, rising down the mountain toward the island. When he reached it, it was like a dream come true. A giant gem just sitting in plain sight and nobody there to guard it! He ran up to the emerald and gazed at it's magnificence. "Now that's what I call treasure!" He said, getting ready to try and pick the emerald up. He squatted down and tried to lift the enormous emerald, but to no avail. "Dangit. Where's Storm when you need him?" Jet said. He hopped back on his board and rode off, searching for some treasure that was easier to carry.

 

Knuckles had been asleep whent the whole incident happened. When he woke up, he noticed the stars were in the wrong spot. "What's going on? If Eggman's at it again I swear I'll..." He stopped after he noticed something odd, and went to follow it. He got to the edge of the island and jumped into the water, swimming toward the City.
