I just got my megaman starforce 2, and I was planning on trying to see if there was any way I could get on without dealing with the annoying WPA, even though it's a better security type (as far as what little knowledge I know of it), though it looks like it will never happen. I can't connect normally through wifi, and I can't use the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector because it doesn't work with Windows 7 64-bit...which is what my computer runs....so yeah, kinda depressed right now. I enjoyed fighting others, and powering up my cards as well. Guess it's time for the trial and error with the evil Blank card to put up my stats...can't remember which one I found most useful

Someone legit said in your thread that they turned off internet capabilities of the DS (and Wii).

A video game shouldn't make someone depressed

When you made your thread about the game, there were posts in there that read "too bad they turned off the DS's wi-fi capabilities so we can't battle."

Shoulda been a clue, ya know?

DS never got a wifi capability turned off, and I most certainly never said anything like that. If I mentioned anything about not being able to use wifi on a DS game, it was about my own wifi being WPA instead of WEP now. You can't just turn off a systems ability to connect to the internet for all DS's out there.

He was saying someone here had mentioned earlier that the Internet capabilities of the DS/Wii have been terminated by Nintendo, since the 3DS/Wii U are the new standard systems for the company.

Ah, I see. I kept going over that and was not able to understand it at all. Though I doubt they'd stop allowing certain games on internet...oh wait, they already did that to Pokemon

They did it with every DS game on May, 20th.[DOUBLEPOST=1403898370][/DOUBLEPOST]
Okay, now what did you actually say different? Was I not just met from the same info with "they can't just turn off the console's ability to connect to the internet!" Like, that's exactly what you said they did. And it's basically what happened.
