It's not everyday you get to be a mass murdering villain though. Cherish it.

No, you still lived long enough to see yourself become the villain.

But then I had to reset to before I killed all those people, so it all works out really

No one can escape the darkness. Riku knows.

Sure you can, Riku got over the whole darkness thing in like one game (and then proceeded to get over it for the next three games)

Acceptance is not the same as escape. In Riku's case, it may very well be the opposite of escape.

That's like saying that people who've been through depression "just got over it."
    You snooze, you miss out.

No, it's like saying a person who gave in to darkness spent about a year making amends to one of the MANY people who wronged, and as punishment became sexy and tan for a little over a week before being transformed back for no particular reason and then he is awarded with a the title of key sword master, again, at nearly no real, lasting cost, and in lieu of people who actually worked to earn it
Don't compare dumb Disney anime with real issues, ass

Someties I stay up cashing in my bad luck,
Someties I call it a draw.
Someties I wish that my lips could build a castle,
Someties I wish they'd just fall off.
