In the Trailer, Terra, and Ven refer to Aqua as "Friend" all the time.
In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ Xemnas refers to Aqua as "Friend"
Xemnas looks like Terra, and Xehanort looks like Terra
However Xehanort looks like Master Xehanort, even though Master Xehanort looks younger then the 10 year later counterpart.

There's obviously a Terra <> Xehanort/Xemnas <> Master Xehanort Triangle going on here

 

I'm starting to think Anse the wise didn't find Xehanort, he found Terra. That would explain why Xehanort is younger in the other games. I'm guessing after the battle he either lost his memory or Xehanort took over his body. Either way when he wakes up he has no memory of anything but Xehanort. If He lost his memory he probobly wakes up remembering one word, and that word is Xehanort because he held so muc hatred for him that his hatred helped him remember it. If Xehanort took over his body then all he remembers is Xehanort because Xehanort is in Contol now. Either way, Terra is most likely the conecting piece between MX, Xehanorts Heartless, and Xemnas.

 

Hmm, great theory! This leaves us with the apprentice, who IS he?

I'm thinking that the old man is Master Xehanort, but also the Xehanort in the first KH. I'm thinking toward the ending of BBS, Master Xehanort defeats Terra and takes over Terra's body. But Terra's body had been so massacred by Master Xehanort, Xehanort was incredibly weakened by the damaged body. That's when Ansem had found him.

BTW, this is all opinion.

 

Ooh, I like where this is going. Master Xehanort taking over Terra's broken, memory-less body. Terra taking Xehanort's name. If Master Xehanort is somehow in Terra/Xehanort, that would explain why his Heartless, KH1 Ansem, has the same outfit as Master Xehanort.

 

So do u think they are combined in some way?
maybee Xehanort took over Terra like he did Riku only he won the battle (unlike him taking over Riku)

high light in order to read. ok, i think that Master Xehanort steals people's bodies. so he stole Terra's body and was being sarcastic (kinda) when Xemnas called Aqua's armor "Friend". so i think that it's like how Ansem tried to take control over Riku's body in KH1 and COM. but he somehow lost his memory when he took Terra's body which is why Xemnas was interested in Namine and the Room of Sleep and Awakeniing and of Castle Oblivion. he wnated to regain his memories?

 

Let me say this clearly before anyone mixes up the whole fact. First, Master Xehanort did not combine with Terra. Why combine with a body so much weaker when his own body was so powerful? And if Terra's body is so battered up, why the hell did he wanna combine with him? Next, Terra, which is Ansem's apprentice Xehanort, lost his memories but he still has glimmers of memories of his past. First proof, he was inteligent and quick to pick up every knowledge as if he knew them before, thus what Ansem the Wise had said 'superhuman'. Second, Xehanort was drawn by the experiments of heart, and most importantly, drawn to the Darkness. It was probably because of his affinity with Darkness (As seen in the video, and Master Xehanort's speech about Terra, "Touched by Darkness, not qualified to wield a keyblade")

 

The only theories that I had thought were acceptable were that Xehanort's Apprentice/Heartless was the one who was found at the beginning of KIngdom Hearts, but now my theory is that the Heartless of Xehanort or Xehanort's apprentice stood and watched his original self be defeated, the heartless then posessed Terra's body (just like he would later do to Riku). The new Terra went into contact with Kingdom Hearts but he was sent to The Radiant Garden. In Radiant Garden the man called himself his master's name "Xehanort", meanwhile a Nobody of Terra was created due to a different Heart being in Terra's body (Reason for Namine being made). Terra's Nobody only remembers his hatred of Xehanort but still had the Keyblade which he gave to Riku which was then passed down to Sora.
