Kingdom Hearts II Something just hit me...

We all know Axel has the same voice as Reno from FFVII.
Both in English (Quinton Flynn) and Japanese (Keiji Fujiwara).
But does that mean the same about the others?
The other day i wacthed Last Order FFVII, and discovered Hojo and Vexen has the same Voice actor in Japanese (Nachi Nozawa).
And in the English version of DoC FFVII Hojo was voiced by Paul Eiding, so thinking of the case with Axel, Would that mean that Paul Eiding was to voice Vexen in English?

That is very interesting, and I think I read an interview from a while ago asking if Axel was based off the caracter Reno, and I think he said yes. So I don't know if that goes for any other caracters but that is really interesting.

 

I suppose it makes sense though whenever I watch the videos for Re:CoM I have to look at the screen otherwise I think 'Dude...Hojo's in this game. No wait...it's Vexen.'

Just don't be giving me ideas that Vexen is Hojo's Nobody. Now that would just be crazy talk. Since we already Know it was Even that led to Vexen.

I personally wouldn't mind Paul Eiding to do Vexen's English voice.

 

I remmeber reading somewhere saying the nomura wante dto have the same ... I think character bases but...different personalities...you know? Hm...like, the same people, but different...place and time...er....iono how to explain, but in hsort, they were suppose to be...like...same character development

It would be great and creepy since I already heard Vexen's seiyuu's laugh. Imagine that from Hojo's V/A is not so great since I've also played DoC.

There are so many familiarities between KH and FF, this would be a hilarious one. Good find, it gives me something to laugh about, um, I mean, think about. Thanks!

 

It's not that surprising. Tetsuya Nomura created FFVII and KH, so he favors some VAs over others. Not to mention, it probably isn't coming to the US.
