He made me realize how rarely people on the internet legitimately ask questions. Usually when someone says "How does X cause Y?" they're challenging the person, inferring that they're wrong, that there's no way X could cause Y, but more often than not with him he's just asking a question.
    Kinda refreshing, honestly

It's a little bit jarring at first, I have to admit.

Trufax. I'm especially guilty of it and I'm trying to catch myself more often. A bad argument is one with no questions in it, good discourse is at least half-&-half.

    I um... Think you're exaggerating.

Most game boards ask questions, for instance. Yahoo answers gets tons of questions a day. People ask stuff on Facebook and Twitter too. There's always screenshots for the silly stuff in these places.

I think you just find yourself around a certain type of internet raised debater a lot and they make the trend seem louder than it is.

Obviously in contexts where you're meant to ask questions it's going to be an actual question, but in casual conversation it's far less common

I mean, generally friends share similar knowledge on the subjects that brought them together... There's little need for me to ask a question to Nova about 80s and 90s games because I know quite a bit about them. If I asked Nova anything, it'd be regards to how to do stuff I can't do[DOUBLEPOST=1401061321][/DOUBLEPOST]
You're questionable enough for this thread.

That depends on what variable f, s, and h stand for. Why do you even have them in that order? i should be first because it's actually a number, albeit an imaginary number. For now all I can say is that it's 2ifsh. Squared, that would be -4fsh, that's got nothing to do with anything anyway.

It has to do with how negative people on the internet are. It makes me enjoy it less and less every day.

Minor correction, you squared the coefficient, but not the variables. It would be -4*(fsh)^2

Damn it, I knew I was forgetting something. I should mention that you don't need a multiplication sign there, though. It's implied when you're working with variables and/or parentheses.

Socrates questioned people a lot and become one of the world's most well known philosophers.

Could this mean Amaury's trying to be the next great philosopher? :O
