I should not be staying up till 1AM playing video games anymore, I lose too much time on my days off afterwards by sleeping in.

I went to bed around 2:20 AM, fell asleep around 3:00 AM, woke up around 6:00 AM, fell back asleep for a while, and woke up for good around 7:30 AM. It is now 8:15 AM and I'm wide awake.

I haven't been able to do anything like that since I lived in South Carolina. It used to be I would stay up all night to 5AM or even 6:30AM, go to sleep, wake up 30-40 minutes later, and be awake the rest of the day like I got a whole night of sleep. Now I usually always sleep between 9-10 hours without trying

You're an adult now and have college, a job, and other responsibilities.

I know. Life sucks compared to 10 years ago....except for, y'know, that chance to play M-rated games without parents freaking out (not that I play a lot. I only own shadow of mordor and type-0 hd), or going out whenever you feel like. Plus having a job to make money to buy stuff instead of waiting for Christmas or your birthday helps. But the sleep is going to kill me one day, I'm sure. I just hate how days like these I never have the urge to do anything, so it goes by way too slow. Pessimism for the win it seems.

I daydream about the days when all I had to do was go to school, read a book and do some multiplication tables. It was so easy.
