so i am getting a ps3 next month and i need to figure out what games i should get for it.. imean other than kh 1.5 i mean lol but i am really into the game fire emblem..and i am hoping that there are other games like that..where you can marry and such...preferably able to pick between a male or a female..or at least play as a female..since thats what i am lol ..i have tried to ask around about it...but people keep shoving harvest moon and sims in my face. i also have a ps2,and a 3ds..so if you know of any games like that for those systems that would be awesome.
As far as RPGs go, im not sure if there is anything like FE. its a very unique game. The only game i can think of that would come close to it would be the disgaea series. But thats more of a comical game. I have the uncharted games, God of war and the devil may cry games are pretty awesome as well. But for RPGs with a great story id say go for the "tales of" games. Tales of Xillia comes to ps2 in august. and Tales of the abyss is on the 3ds right now (which im currently playing and love it). Tales of symphonia (for the GC) will be re-released for the ps3 in early 2014 (Its personally my 2nd fav game next to FFX). Oh and of course Final Fantasy X remaster HD combo comes out soon as well :)
what can you do in the disega games thats like fire emblem? also i heard that rune factory is good too..but other than the 3ds one coming out next month...you can only play as the boy and not a girl..
These aren't games that meet your criteria, but these are good games that you should check out regardless. Catherine, Bioshock Infinite, Last of Us, Borderlands 1 & 2, Alice: Madness Returns, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, LA Noire, GTA 4 (and 5 when it comes out), Dragon's Dogma, Lollipop Chainsaw, Red Dead Redemption, The Unfinished Swan, Journey, Flower, Killer is Dead.
finally someone who's thinking the same idea as me. sadly there are no games like that, unless nintendo makes a new FE on the wii u that's like the one in the 3ds, but i doubt it.
You can unlock a marriage event in the final .hack//G.U. game, but it's for PS2. You can choose to marry a boy or a girl, but you're automatically playing as the main character, Haseo, who's a guy. Actually, if you choose a guy to have the event with, there's only one guy you can "marry." For the rest of the guys you can choose from, it's more like a friendship event. Other than Harvest Moon, which you already mentioned, I can't think of any other games that you can get married in. (But Harvest Moon: More Friends in Mineral Town is a pretty good game, just throwin' that out there.)
If you want games that revolve around different choices of romantic relationship developments where you can play as either sex, is basically anything by Bioware. So Mass Effect 1 - 3, Dragon 1 and 2 are all on PS3. Can't think of any others really, not a lot of choice in games where you can choose your gender and develop a relationship. Bit of a niche, believe me, I've looked.
The Mass Effect Trilogy allows you to choose your character and change what they look like. Saints Row 3 & 4(Comes out August 20th) is like a more comedic GTA. For a PS3, you should really play the current top contenders for 2013's Game of the Year which are The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite. Both very fantastic games. I just finished Bioshock yesterday, holy crap is it fantastic. Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD is coming out soon, so you should also get that. The Uncharted Series because it's an exclusive and should try it cause you can get the first and second one for 30 dollars.
