Well, how are we supposed to know? Kingdom Hearts barely focuses on romance. And, of course, if there's an organization with twelve different guys, the yaoi fangirls (and fanguys) are going to jump at it. I don't really care either way. But, you know, Marluxia was originally meant to be a girl, so it's possible.

What bothers me about that is that there are twelve guys. and one girl.
I really dont think that should have happened.

But at least 2-3 members are gay. Maybe not necessarily Marluxia

    Probably Axel and Roxas lol

It needs to be brushed up permanently, because people stereotype way too much with the color pink on men, and relate it to being homosexual or effeminate. And while it might be hard to grasp for some that pink was a male color, it's true. Pink being a feminine color is a relatively recent development in the present. So, truly, it was connected to baby boys in the past because it was a lighter form of red, which is a good masculine color. In other cultures and countries, it still is masculine. And one of them, is, yes, Japan.

Real men wear pink, hell yeah.

In the end, Marluxia associating with pink doesn't make him any less manly than propositioned. Or have any less testosterone than the rest of the members. For the other problem concerning his petals, they're sakura (cherry blossoms), which in Japan is very symbolic as well. Connected to samurai, who are graceful and honored warriors, and even infamously, death. Which fits into his Grim Reaper motif and how he is a representation of death itself in terms of powers. A lot of people take Marluxia for granted because of the jokes, when he's probably the most badass of them all.

In America, on the other hand, it seems we are way to prone to making fun of men wearing pink as if it was unheard off and makes them completely gay or some sort of metro. Which isn't the case at all, in reality.

    ...

And he looks nothing like Xaldin o.O.

It's actually always like that in groups. Even in the Akatsuki as well. The token female among the men. It's not unheard of. However, you will think Nomura could finally stem a great female with admirable strength to be at the forefront because of this, instead of being pushed back. They either die or disappear. And most of them are Kairi clones.

Originality has its boundaries, it seems.

    But that's another rant.

Well actually I've noticed groups with so few females. There always tends to be a majority of guys. As in the Power rangers it started with 3 males and 2 females. THere was a good amount of females, but not a majority.

The only thing that really got close to the Org for me, was The fourth season of Digimon. 5 guys and 1 girl.

and then Fruits Basket is also a kind of good example, but I guess it's more overlooked because of the fanclub for one of the main guy characters and the fact that girls love the guy characters. I guess.

    I think that's all I've noticed recently.

Every man has a feminine side to them, even fictional characters. I don't see him as being gay, even though I called him that only once. It's just that he shows his feminine side a little bit more than needed. Hence, that's why some may see him as gay, but I don't.

Realisticly speaking, he isn't gay, just flambouyant.

But I like to trick myself with thoughts of him and Vexen because that's how I live life with every fandom.

That's true, but I also think that only straight Marluxia can weild a scythe with the insanity he does.

And also, why does the poll tally up to 103.03%?

I like to think of him as bisexual... since he is pretty awesome with his scythe-wielding and all, but since his character was originally supposed to be a girl, or something like that, it makes you wonder...

MARLY IS A BISEXUAL TRANSVESTITE, AND WE ALL LOVE HIM.

There so little info about him that it's hard to say. Yes he has flowers and pink hair, but when they were first making the story line of CoM he was supposed to be a she.

I read somewhere that Marluxia was spoce to be a girl (thus pink hair, flowers, ect) but there had been an error in the communication process and he ended up being a boy xD

How does having a pink and green scythe make Marluxia gay? It's just a color. Might as well call girls who wear blue a lesbian. He's just a nobody with his own element, which happens to be flowers and death. Do not see how this will make him gay. And he after all is a nobody. We do not know whether these beings feel desires as to what gender they prefer or even gave a thought to their sexual orientation. Yes, his character was originally supposed to be females, but obviously the plans changed and Marluxia is now a male...that was Nomura's decision. He didn't ask Nomura for a sex change. Changing character plans doesn't automatically make Marluxia a homosexual, a pedophile, nor a transgender. He's a male, and that's that. Nobodies aren't supposed to pursue their love life.

I used to think he was, now I just find him cool. He is one of my favorite members of the Organization XIII now. I thought he was a girl when I first saw him, then when I found out he was a guy I was like, "He is gay." But I changed my mind, he's awesome.

    So yea, no. :v
