Marluxia is no gay! just because he has flower power and pink hair doesn't mean hes gay.

And besides, the scyhe is cool and hes one of my fav homies. And flower power rocks

The guy's not gay. It's just a rumor that yaoi lovers started the minute that they saw Marluxia. Plus, he's a nobody who cannot feel love for anything, which means he can't be gay or straight.

"Yaoi Lovers" ¬_¬ don't care if he looks "gay" or not... Marluxia is the same as Lexaeus, Xaldin or Xigbar for that matter...

That joke come whit straight people or homophobic people that can't stand a character how have some "feminine" characteristics...

He's definitely a little metro, yeah, but they never really proved that he's "gay." Yeah, the flowers thing is a little odd, but have you guys seen Roxas and Axel lately?

I actually thought that Marluxia wasn't gay since hes like another Byakuya(from Bleach) with the petals and awesome weapon(scythe). I also liked his confidence in thinking he could take down Organization XIII. He might've won if it wasn't for Axel ruining the plan and betraying him.

 

I don't know why people are using the "he can't feel love, so he doesn't have a orientation" argument. Since when are feelings the only thing that draws you into a a gender? Has everybody forgotten the body's physical need? Desire? Lust? That's where attraction mostly comes from. Love =/= only factor.

Coming for the topic, no, I do not believe Marluxia is gay. At all. Is just a stupid stereotype that fans have put him in as a joke and ridicule because of the fact that he has pink shaded hair, has a pink scythe, and exudes cherry blossom petals (sakura) most of the time. In Japan, pink is considered to be manly, or rather, not only fitting to women, and cherry blossoms symbolize death, which doubtlessly matches his Grim Reaper appearance and basis. While Nomura did intend for him to be a woman originally, the fact is, it was changed, and in my opinion, he came out the most testorone inducing male member of the Organization. He has a deep, baritone voice, he's graceful and has a sort of aura of nobility, and arrogance, and has acted from beginning to end as a man, and not a word he has spoken can make him seem as if he was gay. Even Saïx can be questionable with his Xemnas worshipping, even though it seems he did it all for his Heart, rather than the leader.

Really. Is all because Marluxia has pink hair. If it wasn't for that, I foresee it wouldn't harbor this much discussion, or it would be such a deal as it is now.

Then, there's also the fact that you can pull the "game characters don't have a orientation as they are simple data and pixels", which goes against everything I've known, or what Sora and Kairi ever stood for so far.

 

Why do people always bring this up?

Marluxia is not gay. He has flashy traits... most noteably an obsession with pink.

However:

Pink does not equal gay.

Nor does flashy.

Its a myth that flashy and pink are gay. If anything, he is one of the more masculine characters of the game.

 

Now that you ask... I don't know... Maybe he's bisexual, lol!
But sometimes he acts a bit... gayish... Yeah, don't we all?

 

He is pretty metrosexual but I can't equate that with gay. Nobles weren't all gay and they dressed for pomp and circumstance etc. Businessmen and other men dress up and are neat etc. Yeah, his hair is an unusual color and all but I think it goes with his theme he chose for himself to be a graceful assassin which to me just means, like the other members of the Org, their titles are important to them and they fit them.

And just about -any- KH character has been made into a yaoi thing or for girls a yuri thing by some fans. They are their interpretations or fun so I can't call any character outright as gay because who says they are right? People constantly debate Marly's orientation and Axel's and I just think Nomura makes the characters and people decide as he doesn't care to class them. I'd still lean towards saying he's probably not gay, though I have no idea for sure and it's left up to the players to decide.

 

I don't think Marluxia is gay. When I first played the game, I thought he was with Larxene. So what if he has the power over flowers, that doesn't make him gay.

I don't think he's gay,just because his hair's pink(well almost everything's pink for him)doesn't mean he's gay,it's actually kinda cool using a scythe

 

No, I don't think Marluxia is gay. This gets on my nerves (along with "OMG Axel and Roxas are gay" and "Zexion's emo") Pink hair and controlling flowers does not equal gayness.

To tell you the truth, before I found out about the whole Nobodies-don't-have-emotions thing, I thought he and Larxene had something going from the way they were acting.

 

I say no,the scythe is awsome,though I do wonder about the pink hair and flowers.

 

he probably isn't. but the questonable orientation. the yaoi fan in me disagrees with my logical side, but he isnt gay. he more masculine than most of the characters

 

i dont think Marluxia is gay (though we can never knoe for sure).
i just think that the pink hair and flower theme throws me off a little...

(a scythe IS a cool weapon in my opinion.)
