Some people say the stupidest things

We've all done it, we've all heard other people do it, sometimes people just say the stupidest things.

I'm curious though, what are some of the stupidest things you have ever heard anyone say?

I have a few


1) At work one day I was singing the spiderman theme tune, a girl I work with said to me "Isn't that from The Simpsons?" she thinks that Spiderman is a rip off from spider-pig.

2) Linked with number 1, I was reading spidey during a break in class, and the guy who sits behind me asked me what I was reading, I told him and he was like "Oh right, thats Batman's brother right?"

3) My younger sister asked me the other night "Why aren't America in the Eurovision song contest?"

4) One of my favourites ever, I was talking about mammals (I can't remember why) and my older sister turned around and said, "I always thought a mammal was a type of animal...like a cat"

I want to know why everyone around you is so ignorant towards Spider-Man.

Really.

 

One day in Global class we were talking about Pearl Harbor and this kid says "Isn't Pearl Harbor in Boston?"

 

i don't ahve any stories to tell because.....I forgot them all. But according to my World History teacher, he once had a girl in his class who didn't know there was a second world war.

 

The Great wall of china is in russia. ;_;

 

Och, i have TOO many, far too many. Some of my daft comments still haunt me to this day. D:

 

Once, I was watching tv in my dorm's common area with a couple people, and a commercial for some kind of makeup (probably covergirl or something) comes on. So we start talking about what kind of makeup we use (for some reason) and this one girl says, "Yeah, I always make sure to get makeup with the Fisikin's formula," and we were all like, "Uh, what?"

So she continues, "You know, the Fisikin's formula. It says it on the box. It means that the makeup is like, healthy for you."

After a few seconds, it dawned on me what she meant. So I asked, "Wait... do you mean Physician's formula?"

Then the girl tried to act like that's how she'd been pronouncing it the entire time. It was the most hilarious thing ever, but it also made me sad... she's at the same college as me... how did she get accepted here?! D:

 

...Did she die in the First World War and come back to life in the late 20th Century?

 

I ahve no idea. But apparently he was announcing they were going into the World War 2 unit when she suddenly said,"Wait....there was a second one?" And she had no clue. But she did pass the World History II SOL.

 

I thought Pearl Harbor was in NYC until I went there(NYC)

Thought that anime was made in Mexico and in Mexico they speak Japanese.

 

Tell me where these people are, give me the pleasure of ripping them apart.

Anywho, some guy I sit near in class asked me "Isn't Final Fantasy a rip off of a joke in a Xbox game?".

 

Oh......that reminds me....one of my confused moments in life. For the longest time I thought "Sayonara" was good bye in Spanish......alongside adios. Until my Japanese friend told me otherwise. I blame Maria in Sonic Adventure 2.

 

With regard to the Spider-Man and final fantasy situations, that isn't stupidity, that's ignorance. There's a difference.

Stupidity is eating a banana and drinking sprite at the same time, (the chemical reaction causes you to puke) because someone told you you could get high off of doing it. I know a friend unfortunately...

But by all means, try it. Seriously.

 

...Spider-man ignorancy XD

A few months ago, me and one of my best friends who I've known for over two years were talking and I suddenly said,"I just realised, you're a year older than me."​

 

I have countless things people have told me (in particular one of my friends), but there are so many I can't really remember what they are.

Oh, here's one: "How do you buy a house?"

Also, anyone who overemphasizes the word "fuck" needs to go back to slander-camp.

 

When I went to see that Tom Cruise movie, Valkerie, my friend and I were discussing about how Hitler died in real life and my other friend said "Oh, you guys have already seen this movie?".
