society

society, it's self explainable. What do you think of society? What do you think of it's principles? I hate the principles, not everybody has the same chance in life becouse of them ( like sex seels, only beauty matters; some people are alone their whole life becouse of this, racism, nationality differences; ie I'm worth more than you, cool people think they're worth more than other, etc, etc, etc...) . Many people don't have a life becouse of this, and many want to commit suicide becouse of what society did to them. So what do you think about it

 

I totally have to agree with you.
I myself, knew someone who commited suicide because of society's ignorence...Just because he looked different. And he was such a nice kid.
They treated him in such a bad way.

So yea, society is brutal nowadays.
Blacks, poor people, people who look slightly different, Foreigners (spl), gays....are all looked down upon by society.
Which is quite sickening.

 

I mostly agree with you guys. I just think it should be specified to say American Society. The values are going to shift a bit depending on where you are, but I guess its fair to say that there are certain attributes that everyone will always want.

 

That may not be totally true. Many countries have exactly the same principles as the USA. I don't live in the USA, and my country still has the same principles

 

I felt the same way. I can never go around people because they get jealous of me just because I'm beautiful (it's true. That's why I'm home-schooled). I never had any friends, and the only one I had moved to Corona in my home state of California. And everyone was always asking me, 'are you black?', or 'are you from the middle east?'. It's annoying.

 

I see where youre comming from, but I simply said *mostly* agree for a reason. Youre right, the majority of the world feels this way but its not everyone. I guess I just thought we should narrow our scope of investigation down to american society.

 

UK Society has a lot of problems! Bleeding hearts allow the criminals to get away with more (eg awwwww he had a bad childhood thats why he killed those people we should feel sorry for him ). Its almost acceptable to rip off the government through benefits (I think the idea of benefits is a good one but some people blatantly take the pis*). By trying to encompass so many varying religions and cultures it has kind of shot itself in the foot, no-one dares say anything in case they get accused of being racialist or some other title! Hmm It isnt that bad all over the UK I dont think but in some areas it is! Where I am the society ideal is to be thin, pretty smart etc etc (blech) and whilst I am happy being me I know people that get really down about not fitting in.

Hehehe my attitude is if you want to make me an outcast go for it! I'm probably having more fun anyways!

 

I can agree with you on that. Society really sucks nowadays. People are so sterotypical these days that it causes so much problems. I guess when we're talking about these kind of racist types, its mainly focused on the American society. And truth be told, a lot can be said just from there. Like people always make racist comments and say stuff like "if you're stupid or poor, then ur black" or something like that. Its these kind of ******ed stuff that drives people over the edge to do something bad to themselves or to others.

What has the world gone into...

 

I hate the people who make comments like that! Some of my really close friends are black but that doesn't make them less smart or anything! Yeah I agree stereotyping like that is ******ed!
