Help Social Group: Counter

I don't know why I haven't inquired about this earlier, but all the counters are off in the main index for Social Groups. When you enter one you can see the actual counts, but the one on the main index only shows posts and threads made after the import. I was wondering if rebuilding the site's caches could clear this up, or if it was intentionally left this way. Not really a big deal, just wondering.

It should be in the ACP under tools, rebuild caches. There's quite a few you can choose from, the only one you would need to do is the one for Social Forums/Groups. Also doing one for the Search Index wouldn't hurt, but the Search Index seems to be working properly with the groups, both old and new posts, so I don't believe that is a must.

 

No no that's not what I'm asking, I know how to rebuild counters. ;]

I mean, where are you seeing:
"all the counters are off in the main index for Social Groups"

I might just be daft but I'm not gettin' what you're describing.

 

Oops, sorry. I misunderstood the question.

Okay, so both of these images are from an imported Social Group.





As you can see the first one shows there's only been one discussion made and 120 replies. However, that was just after the import. It's not counting the discussions that were imported. There should be, in total, seven discussions and whole bunch of messages. Thus, the main counter on the index (for the entire social forum) doesn't match up to the counters within the social forum.

 

Ah okay, I got you. It's probably because of how I had to move the threads. I'll look into it.
