My office finally advanced out of the early 2000's... We have Windows 7, thank you M$ for finally doing something right and making my boss who doesn't know how to use power point finally upgrade her computers which go slower than a turtle on their best days. aka: I love these new ****ing things. =3
And in other news, Windows 9 is said to come out next week, making all those who finally upgraded to something worth the money completely obsolete.
True, but considering we were on XP before this, I don't care that it's coming out. Though maybe I'll change from Windows 8 (Satan)
Ahh yes, didn't XP die this week- I mean, Microsoft officially stopped providing support for it or something? I am happy on Windows 7... I can't believe 9 is coming out already ;-;
I still remember using Vista for the longest time and wondering why everyone hated it. Hard to believe that Windows 9 is coming already, but I'll just keep sitting here with Windows 7.
I would be using GNU/Linux, but I need to use a lot of Windows programs that just don't have good equivalents or don't have equivalents at all, so I'm just using Windows 7 with bbLean and Cygwin for now and it's quite tolerable. I can't see myself upgrading to 8 any time soon lol.
I ran WinXP on my desktop right up until one drunken night when it got smashed to bits in December(?). Now we have a glorious new desktop and laptop with Win7. IDK anything about Win9, but I hope they managed to make it a hell of a lot better than Win8.
