But not all gifs are spammy. Plus, this is all of the information I have on choosing these two jobs. I just wanted other people's opinion on making a simple decision :(.

Because you thought it was better suited there, but the staff and members disagreed.

 

But it's just trying to answer a simple question. Plus, if the other members wanted to know more info, why didn't they just ask before assuming this was a spam thread that was conveniently posted in the Help with Life?

 

They quickly assumed it was spam because the fact that there were two gifs incorporated in it.

I know it sucks that you're not gonna be able to get a straight answer, and that posting pics is now a thing that's used against you. But now you know not to post any pics outside the spamzone.

Learn from your mistakes. I understand that you mean well from your pics, but others won't. As you can tell, they are really really really picky about the content in ones post. If you can't help it, and post a pic, add a little more detail that describes the post more than the pic itself.

In all honesty though, based on how much you overuse memes, I actually always think you're posting in the Spam Zone :v

^And this. You can post pictures, but not having any depth besides the pictures isn't gonna make your thread seem plentiful.

 

But the other sites didn't see this question as being spammy and what stopped other users from asking questions about the thread? If they at least asked more depth could have been found.

Standards which involve seeing how much content a post has to judge where it goes. Won't say I agree with every decision the staff has made, but I do agree with this one.

I've actually reported other threads of yours that you've made in areas like Technology that belonged in The Spam Zone for that same reason -- lack of depth. GIF images aren't a bad thing to place outside of The Spam Zone, but they shouldn't be the core of the post; instead, they should be surrounded by in-depth detail of whatever the subject is. Take a look at threads from me and others in Help with Life, Technology, etc. and look at how they differ from yours. This thread's OP, for example, was just a sentence or two followed by two GIF images.

But the GIFS weren't the core it was more about making a decision of whether or not I should choose between Wal-mart and the Movie theater (hence the poll, images, and question all revolving around those subjects.) Plus, I have posted into the Spam Zone dozens of times why the heck would this particular thread be sent into the Help with Life section if it wasn't for its intended purpose? In addition, why didn't you ask questions about my job situation before moving this thread?

All we're saying is that if you expect a serious discussion, put a little more depth to your post. We're not mind readers (not me anyways) we won't understand what you mean if you put little detail. Just put more detail. That's it.

 

I thought my thread not having depth was the point? I mean you or any of the other users could have still asked questions about my thread before putting it in the Spam Zone.
