I can't say much on most of the Dragonball series, as I've only ever seen Kai and Abridged.
The original Dragonball looks like it's my fav, though.

Oh yeah I know what you mean. They took out the most they could so they could shorten the sagas.
Some things made a lot more sense in the original DBZ than in Kai, just because of some of those pauses.

Forzy, 4kids is so terrible, I use the term as a swear instead of fuck when I'm around my little cousins. The only thing they did right was Pokemon (not including latest seasons).

This builds tension. For those who wanna talk building tension.

That aside, I love the entire DB series. It is my favorite anime of all time. I started watching it as a kid, and later in life began to collect it across all media. Sure, as I got older I became more and more aware of it's plot holes and flaws, but to me these only add to it's charm. DBGT isn't the strongest installment of the series IMO, but it certainly is significant to appreciating the entire DB universe as a whole.

    Good Faulconer

    Best soundtrack

4kids makes an earnest effort to capture the spirit of the original work in a way that English-speaking audiences can better understand. Yes, this is often at the sacrifice of some accuracy, and in their case the good changes often come packaged with the bad; but it's a damn sight better than some of the dull, sterile performances Funimation has put on throughout its lifespan. The voice actors aren't as bad as people say; they are cartoonish and they know how to emote, which is essential in voice acting, as Billy West (Fry, Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, and basically half the cast of Futurama) will tell you. Not to mention, Funi got a few of their big names from 4kids projects!

We could have it a LOT worse as far as dubs go. We're measuring 4kids as if they're the bottom of the barrel, but we're not even near it. Ever heard of the "Big Green" dub of Dragonball Z? Yeah, give it a search on Youtube some time. And I always use this example, but in the German dub of Naruto, they're not allowed to show swords. Yeah. So, when Zabuza makes his entrance, lodging his gargantuan cleaver in a tree and then standing on it? HE IS FLOATING IN THE AIR. MAGICK NINJA POWERS.

    Don't ever face me

Your rebuttal is juvenile, predictable, and moreover already accounted for, so I shall assume you have been defeated. Have a nice day :L
