So this 'Elite' usergroup suggestion

I agree, but apparently most don't like Gold.

 

Though I'm not entirely for the new usergroup, I think instead of using a golden color, it should be more yellow. I have no idea what the light layout looks like, though, so it might be really awful. Yellow would look really good on the dark layout, more so than a gold.

 

The common complaint was actually that it looked more like piss than gold. Of course, I can't recall exactly what it looked like, if it was less gold than the one Akaz posted or not, just straight up yellow might be worse. I was proud to serve under our overlord P though, so I wouldn't mind.

 

The colour can always be voted on later, but I personally hate yellow. With a passion. Not just for usergroups, but in general.

I guess I've just been a fan of yellow and grey together.

Any shade of yellow feels like the only color that could be chosen if different shades of a color already in use are not wanted.

 

We could always do the rainbow thing again.

Boom! And colour blinded folk would struggle recognising most groups anyway. So having a colour on the same spectrum wouldn't make much of a difference.

Unless they're learnt how to distinguish most colours, then it wouldn't be a problem anyway.
