So this 'Elite' usergroup suggestion

To increase posting activity, the usergroup suggestion thread in the Suggestions section is currently in the middle of a large discussion regarding a few ideas of perk tiers (think unlocking abilities while levelling up, but with posts) and potentially a new user group as an end result, to act as incentives for more posting.

Natural selection. Those who were born with a gene mutation of huge, booming voices propagated in her location because they ensured the greatest chance of survival through using their loud, booming voices to communicate across the rough Scottish highlands.

Aye, I read the first few posts and began to read the last page but gave up. Is there any indication that this idea is possible or have the staff tutted and waggled their fingers? Personally, I quite like the idea but I'd probably have to read the entire thing to toss in my input. Maybe tomorrow during breakfast.

 

It seems to have been seriously considered, but everyone disagrees about what perks to add, what requirements it should have, what to call it and what colour to make it.

It is currently lost in congress until someone lays down a perfect plan.

 

Chev referenced one of your old threads about the same manner. You would clearly be to blame if this didn't go through then. Still, I vote for Kitty getting her Forum Helper usergroup back. It's been a long time.

And yet, it's surprisingly similar to what is being brought up now. Especially the requirments for becoming part of the usergroup.

 

But the reason for creating it is different. The previous suggestion was because there were too many premium members and a lot of them felt they were losing their status in a way. Back then Premium was something. It was an accomplishment.But now premium is just a pretty colour you receive and most folk accept that. But this new suggestion is to help boost khv activity, which I think is a worthy goal. It obviously won't rally everyone to post and aim for this new group but I think some members would take a fancy to it and raise to the challenge. If there are additional perks to it then more members would go for it.

 

It's so hard to make posts.
