I like all these people acting like their space wars movies just can't POSSIBLY be in Kingdom Hearts. It fits as well as any other, and don't even TRY to tell me that Star Wars has too much dignity to cross over with Kingdom Hearts, when we've already had ACTUAL classics butchered by KH, not silly space adventures with good special FX

TFU3 is dead in the water, long since confirmed

Don't care how many times it's been said; no Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts please.

The Force Unleashed 1 was pretty bland, glad I got rid of it. I've heard even worse about The Force Unleashed 2.

I don't want Star Wars in Kingdom Hearts 3, but that's just my opinion. It just doesn't fit the whole "Disney theme" even with the new conditions.

Exactly. There's already a precedent, so why is Star Wars suddenly impossible?

Everyone always goes back to this question, but my question is the opposite. How does that make any semblance of sense? Star Wars and KH are so far removed from each other in my brain that the idea of them crossing over is so foreign to me and seems completely absurd. I just do not see it happening. It doesn't have the same spirit that any of the other Disney films, including Pirates, had. I know this is just me grasping at straws trying to find some legitimate reason for why it's not possible, but seriously, it would be so awful. I don't want to say "will ruin kh" but... will probably ruin kh. Like at that point why even bother sticking with Disney? Just include anything. Remember when people thought High School Musical would be in Days? Remember that scan? Doesn't seem so crazy now. Where's my Medabots kh world?

Disney is all but irrelevant to KH anyways though. You COULD use anybody, it doesn't matter. And really functionally Star Wars has everything it needs to make a world. A distinct place to visit, an iconic character to fight, action oriented goals, bizarre moralizing based on an ambiguous force. Heck Star Wars Episode 4 works better than MOST KH worlds, note my earlier post.

(I now predict someone will retort with how dumb Kingdom Hearts already is)

It's easy to predict because it's true. Star Wars would be far from the dumbest thing to be in KH. Nobody is giving any REAL reasons why Star Wars is magically dumber than anything else KH has done. It's just the internet thing of saying nope over and over and pretending that's somehow a coherent answer.

Anyways, KH is dumb, and Star Wars is just a well paced action movie. Holding either of them up to some ridiculous standard is just silly.

Star Wars has a completely different tone from Kingdom Hearts. It has 'the force', which would be hard to incorporate because 'the force' affected the whole universe in SW, not just a system or singular world. Besides the continuity problems, the characters in SW are all work and no play; even the original trilogy was sparse in its silliness. Above all, it's hard to see a Star Wars world as fun, while I definitely found the Pirates world fun. It's also sci-fi while KH is fantasy. Combining them would detract from both worlds. Pirates blended well by comparison.

Every Disney show has a different tone from KH, because none of them are cliche anime. I really don't see how the force would be hard to incorporate, every world runs on its own rules anyways, plus it's a great excuse to give a party member good moves ( though I'm not so sure Luke or Ben would be the party member)
... the original trilogy was PRETTY silly. And when not silly, fun at least. Not that that matters, KH never needed a silly movie to incorporate it, in fact they tend to drain the silliness from movies that WERE silly. On the fun factor... in my experience the actual world has little to do with how fun it turns out. But Star Wars has plenty of moments that could be fun. Battling Storm Troopers. Or Storm Trooper themed Heartless? Maybe make that monster in that garbage compactor a heartless and have a boss battle when you have to keep everyone from beign crushed while still defeating it? A Darth Vader boss fight would be loads of fun if done right. Going with the Pirates analogy I'd imagine they'd use Han Solo as the party member, him being the fan favourite character and Luke not coming into his own yet, much like Jack in the Pirates world. Aesthetically Star Wars lends itself better to a bright colour palette as well, so the characters would stand out less than they did in Pirates.
Oh, adn sci-fi elements have no place in KH? How

Different tone isn't the same as contradictory, or completely different, tone. I chose my words carefully. The ultimate criterion for the goodness of the idea in cases like this is 'what will make the game more enjoyable'. Which is easier to incorporate: Star Wars or Disney children's films? Which is easier: Star Wars or Pirates?

The Tron grid was plenty silly enough to be used effectively without changing the very nature of the world.

Did you forget that Re:Coded sucked?
