Hmm, probably because xehanort hypnotised one of his friends, Killed terra's best friend by the freezing of the body. Maybe?

 

I agree. I dont Ven died though b/c when Aqua was holding him, it looked like his eyes were still moving.

In a strange mission Terra was betrayed by Master Xehanort and left to die. Terra survived and grew a strong hatred of his former friend, one that would transcend death itself.

 

well in one of the images terra was summoning his keyblade and said "what did u do to his heart!" so he hates master xehanort foor a reason that terra was betraid and ven was the victam because of it

 

Master Xehanort may have been a close mentor to Terra once, and betrayed the light for the dark, but Terra stayed on the light.

Or Terra could be like Sora, and just decide to hate his very existence just because he's the antagonist, not because he's evil.

Other than that just like every other villian Master Xehanort is after Kingdom Hearts, isn't that original? Also since Ven did wield Way to Dawn it could've been possible that somehow Ven stepped into darkness, which would explain that one brief scene from BBS when Terra asked him that, he probably harbors strong feelings of dislike because of that, and probably Master Xehanort betrayed the trust that Terra had placed on him...

Why do I get the feeling that Master Xehanort was using them from the beginning?

 

*Hasn't really seen/read/heard any info on BBS, so go easy on my theory*

I just think it was over power. I'm sure there was definately some stuff in the background of that, but humans are essentially power-craving beings.

 

I would say that MX done something to Terra's friend.. and they probably knew each other..but Terra maybe betray MX or whatever..
