Not cancelled yet here, but it's only a matter of time.

 

Something that I've just been informed of now. My campus is closing at three. Which happens to be in half an hour. My ride isn't coming for another hour at least.

I wonder if "campus is closed" just means no classes or if I'm about to be cold over here.

 

What happens if your power goes out?

Darkest corner. I'm currently thinking my downstairs bathroom since it is the only room in my house (besides closets) that has no windows.

EDIT: My power just cut out for a second. For some reason today I found that really funny after this thread, and the rest of my family looked at me like I was crazy. I think Marcell was on to something

The bro doesn't have school tomorrow either, and they called around 7 tonight to let us know. Nice change of pace from the 5:30 phone calls they have been doing. Or in today's case, a 5:30 to say it's cancelled, followed by an 8:30 call to change it to a 2-hour delay and tell my brother he'd better be there by 9:30 (bus would have come at 9) to a call not long afterward once again confirming cancellation. I hate this district.

Thankfully I don't have to teach tomorrow either. I had an early release today, cancellation tomorrow, with a slight chance of another delay Thursday.

 

Snow started to stick on the ground just now. The way my city react to the first sight of "ground snow", we'll get a cancelation for sure. Just hope it extends to the University though.

 

We've already cleared the driveway off once, and that was after my tiny front-wheel drive couldn't scale the uphill path with 5 inches already on the ground. Not even switching into low did anything. I slipped back into the road, drove up the street and parked at the gas station until we could drag out the snowblower to clear it.

This is Bs I had no school today and 2hr delay tomorrow. And its supposed to be an ice storm. I lost my last snow day today so I'm really not hoping for another snow day. And I think last week there was a 3hr delay which was new to me. Cause that's the first time I ever had that. I always wondered what would happen if there was ever a 3hr delay.
