So Pokemon Gen 6 comes out this month

But where the hell is my Gen 3 remake.

never ever happening. honestly, they shouldn't have even remade those first remakes when they did. it was too soon, no would have been the perfect time to do it.but they're not going to re-remake red and green now are they

 

It's a good thing that red and blue aren't anything special by comparison

 

but they could have made it something special and livelier. seriously, watching this pokemon anime is making me wish the games were like that, especially since i'm replaying it right now.

 

Red and Blue are overly simple. Seeing them in 3D would kill a lot of design decisions like the rotating floor tiles.

 

i mean, that's kind of the point.

 

Why not? FireRed and LeafGreen allowed everyone to get all the Kanto exclusives that weren't available anymore when the games shifted to Gameboy Advance, such as the Gen 1 starters.

 

So instead of just making a new game in that region... And having a new adventure... You want them to remake the simple one that wouldn't translate well?

How about a whole new thing where machop finished building that place?

I wouldn't say it wouldn't translate too well. They added in additional content to HG/SS (more Silver/Giovanni exposition, more stuff with Team Rocket, the double battle with Claire and Lance), so I don't see why they couldn't add in some newer things of that sort for Red and Blue.

Though I don't want them to get a remake either, solely because they've already gotten one. Same with GSC. The only remake that I could see coming for this gen. or sometime in the near future would be Hoenn (which had the best music all around (barring the HG/SS Champion Theme) let's be real).

But remaking the modern Generation is something un-needed and unnecessary.

Now, if this is the last Generation of Pokemon, then okay, do it.

That's all sidequest stuff though. That's not changing entire locations like he's suggesting. You'd need to for places like the Rocket Hideout. The reason the spinning tiles worked was because of the overhead view, and if they just switch the camera for that part it'd kinda defeat the point of full 3D Kanto.

Like I said, about we just have a Kanto sequel? Like ten years later? I mean, technology has greatly increased in the pokemon world- there's your theme, GameFreak. Now pay me.

I wouldn't call Hoenn modern. Especially since it's unplayable on three-dis

 

Please dear lord in heaven Game Freak Arceus Mewthree grant unto us your divine wisdom with a Hoenn remake.

 

I'll much rather have a Hoenn sequel.

 

I'm just saying until the DS isn't supported anymore, (meaning people HAVE to move to 3DS or higher), I don't see a Hoenn Remake being a thing. And if it is, I'd rather have High Definition Sprites like in Etrian Odyssey and such as opposed to full 3D Models.
