    Apparently, an armed convict escaped from the police forces and is now at large. As far as I'm concerned, it means that I have to stay locked up in this building till long after school.

    See, I feel sad that there are people who will joke about stuff like this (because it's serious fucking business), but then I feel happy again because I know that at some point those people will have to attempt to function in the real world and it will kick their asses.

    I had to put up with 4 bomb threats in two weeks a few years back... it was absolutely ridiculuos. Especially when it was above 30C here.

    But yeah, those are the kinds of people who fuck up during school then end up mopping up floors in grocery stores... have a nice future!    ​

    What happened was a modified lockdown. The PDA said that an armed convict escaped police custody. It was a new rule that was made for the entire school district even though this happened in the town over. We weren't allowed to go off school grounds and no one was admitted in. The normal bell schedule was applied. My english class had to work on an essay in one of the computer labs. I finished early and thought the spamzone might have liked to have known what was the only interesting, if yet stupid part of my day.
