So Much I've Done...

There are so many thing
for me to do
every day and night
but none of it ever
gets done on time

I remain so busy every second
rushing back and forth
doing as much as
I possibly can
but I can't seem to finish it

I have home work and chores
Sports teams and events
so many things that I want to achieve
and even though so much pushes me onward
so much is holding me back

I don't know what
to do anymore
I am always busy and
I have no time to myself
because I spend my time
doing things to help others

Yet even though
I spend so much time
doing these things
I always fail in the end
but how is that possible?

I take so much time
to do these things
but yet I cannot succeed
I try again and again
going slowly to be careful
but even if I check my work
I fail in the end

Life looks so simple and easy
for everyone else
so how come
it can't be the same for me?
why must I fail while you succeed
even though I tried harder?

Now I realize that if I try again
I am destined to fail
so please tell me...
Why Bother?
I'll only make a fool of myself
so I am quitting now
while I still have the chance...​

Good length.....good free verse.....atmosphere is a little gloomy.....I have a phrase to go with this poem......"Never give up....and never lose hope...." :P.......

 

This is good...although 'sports' shouldn't be capitalized to match with the rest of it...great job. :) Is...everything okay though, honey...?

 

yeah... the strange thing is that I was telling myself that 10 seconds ago... >.< I dunno... just feeling gloomy today... everything's fine though... *smiles*

The poem itself is good but the reason it was written is not. I really hope you're feeling better now. I don't like it when people are sad. It makes me want to hug them but when it is online I can't even do that. So please don't be sad. I hope you feel better.
