The ending was spectacular, I loved it and I cried during it. :(

I still didn't like it as much as one, though... Mainly because of so many enemies that kicked my ass and the glitch at the final boss I kept on hitting. But it is still a fantastic game. Especially the play on emotions.

Which ending did you get? I found the evil ending to be by far the most emotional one, but the good ending was aight too.

Either ending for inFamous 2 got to me, but the things I had to do to see the evil ending made me want to lose the mission and give up. If there was ever a gut-wrenching moral choice in either game, that very last one was it.

I did the good, I'll play evil when I but it. (It's a rental and it's going to be 12 bucks when I return it.)

And yeah... :/ It was really sad.

It broke my heart when the rebels, Nix and the Conduits died. :(

Well, IIRC, you can still get the evil ending, despite playing good all the way through. Isn't there a choice at the end? You should just do that.

inFamous 2 was such a good game. Made me very invested in the characters, unlike the original game.

I actually found a balance with the character attachments in both games. Except Trish, who every single time she called I wanted to reach over and strangle to death. How in the hell Cole put up with her after the blast, I have no idea. I know he loves her, but still...

    *coughs*

Anywho... Rant aside, I could, but I'm at Hero now and it'd take a lot of bad deeds to hit back even to thug. I might do it, right now I'm downloading Festival of Blood.

If the good ending made you cry, the evil ending will make you weep

You know it's funny, the narrative is usually good in inFamous games, but I've basically forgotten them.
Almost like a one night stands I liked at the time, but never left an impression on me and have to be reminded they exist.

Also, the moral choices in the game were pretty meh.

    Alright: One major complaint:

Why in the hell is it much harder in this game to do anything fighting wise? This DLC alone proves my point on how cheap it is with monsters everywhere clubbing you over the head, biting you and not letting you do anything except get your ass kicked, bullets everywhere, there's monsters in the game that can do a OHKO all the time, and it just shoots up all of a sudden from easy to yank your hair out frustrating.

Sorry for the rant, but after Infamous perfect balance and getting my ass constantly kicked in the sequel, I'm getting annoyed.

The idea is that you have super powers, but are still as fragile as a human. You need to dash and cover a lot, and a grenade will end you.

Which I would complain about the first game, not the second...

The first game I was fine with. The second I got killed more times than beating missions.

Gah, reading this thread made me remember the horror of being ganged up on in inFamous 2.
    Cole's dodge roll doesn't help...at all...
No matter how much I liked those games, after playing Second Son I don't know if I could go back. =/

    I feel your pain...

Ravagers are a ****ing ***** to fight, alone... Bring two or more and I'm just asking to be slaughtered. They're one of the many that just beat the living hell out of me with no way for me to fight back, or when I do, barely manage to do so. That and the civilians, and you being held responsible for your actions of your teammates... Ugh....

If I remember correctly I spammed the finishing move and kept my distance for the majority of the game.
Also rocket attacks and sniping ftw.

That's kinda hard when they can shoot up right in front of you when they feel like it from the ground. And go down into the ground as fast.

Huh...Might have to rewatch my livestream of the game to see how bad it really was because all I remember being most annoying were those guys with the rocket launchers who shot at you at point blank...

Honestly felt the first game was way harder and less forgiving
