Help So I've wondering this since I'm member here...

*see a thread*
*hit "Reply Thread" Button*
*Write my post*
*Hit "post" button*
*Suddenly, a new page is up to me saying "You have to wait X seconds before posting in the thread*
*Wait seconds*
*Post again*
*Mensage= "The double post emerged will be deleted"*
*Then I see my post there with the edition: Double Post emerged*

...Whathe...

Why it said to me I didn't post but I did post?

NOTE: Isn't exactly with those words in the last *DO NOT DOUBLE POST*, but it's almost that.

Sorry, I have to make myself more clear.

Well, sometimes -not so often, when I post, I'm lead to a page which says "You have to wait X seconds to post in this thread. Try again within Y seconds". Then when I post, I receive this warning: "You already posted in this thread in 5 minutes or less. Double post will emerge" [and consequently, deleted].

My question is: why this happen?
When I post, it says I have to wait, but if I come back to the Thread -without waiting or hit the post button again- my post actually is there.

It's a little confusing... :blink:

This is a little funny.
Sorry about the bad images, but if someone knows how to shot a Print Screen and focus in a point of the image, please tell me. I shot the PrntScr and paste in the Paint.

 

What happens is that the server is for some reason receiving your post twice. The first goes through and the second gives you the timer error. If you then wait and post again, the double post will be noted to be exactly the same as your previous post and deleted (it shows up as an edit on the post because we also have filters to merge double posts).
