So I'm on a Doctor Who high

Tennant is a BEAST!!! He is the reason I got into Doctor who. I don't even watch the new episodes with the new guy. :/ I plan on buying the Tennant seasons as well. :) He was THE Doctor. The others were good but Tennant's performance cannot be topped. He had just the right mix of acting to make you think that he really was out of this world. He could be light hearted but at times, but at some instances he would make you wonder if you really knew him at all. Great Show. ;)

 

Rory, perhaps. In fact, he is quite a nice character.

Amy, however... To quote an article, was a uterus in a box. Hey, Moffat, thanks for making the female character a strong lead and oh wait, never mind.

Doctor Who, with Amy and Rory, seemed like The Rory and Amy show! With the Doctor.

I'm still not very far into it (Rose Tyler is still the companion, I know others come later, haha), but most of my time is spent morning the loss of Captain Jack. Who I think will come back soon. I hope. no spoilers plz :'c

 

Well, i'll give you that much. Still, I enjoyed the Big Bang.

I thought his conversation with child Amy was sweet and the wedding, however out of place it may have seemed, was a nice distraction from the stress of the Doctor's "death".

I think in any long running series to do with either Sci fi or fantasy, you can pretty much predict which characters will stay dead and those that will return. Or at least guess.

Lord of the Rings: Gandalf the Grey dies, Gandalf the White is born

 

That and the fact he's just looping the same basic plot over and over.

 

Oh of course, but last I saw Jack (which was the season one finale), he died and then was reborn when Rose absorbed the power of the TARDIS (or whatever it was she did, haha).
Not to say he can't die in the future, but I miss his presence, haha.

 

My thoughts.

The way you type reminds me of someone. The 'haha' after everything, funny or not.

 

I'm really not sure why I do it? I guess because text always seems so serious to me... and I laugh after I say things irl. It's kind of nervous laughter. It's a problem.

I have a long Doctor Who-ish coat, which will be worn, and my hair is at a good length to mess up and make it look like David Tennant hair. I will wear a scarf and bring along a screwdriver. And also don the proper accent if possible.

my favorite assistant has been and will remain as rose tyler/billie piper
and tennant is just the best doctor, but i realy do like matt smith as well
