I like it as you've said xD I think the flow should just be a bit more, like the lines should all go the same way or come from a single point. The smudging is nice and gives it a smooth look, I also quite like the red cross hatching that you can still see, it sort of gives it more texture. I think it would look better smaller like 500x250 or something, but as a first with GIMP it's a really good piece. Keep it up Machi! .3
Trippy, but really good. It's probably just my bad computer, but the text looks kinda choppy. Quite good, Machazo.

It is lovely. The kinda smudggyness of it is really quite attractive,and the colours are so bright and nomish. For some odd reason,maybe its just my strange brain,but to me the image is kinda...relaxing or something. Yup I'm odd. But anyways,amazing work m'dear,and I do hope you keep it up~

I must say the development of your skill is coming along rather excellently, sir. With the Dawn, I especially enjoy the effect granted by the rising of the sun and the slightly lighter parts towards the centre - it certainly gives an interestingly realistic effect on the factor of the lighting in general. The colours blend well into each other, and is certainly lovely for one practicing the usage of the program. Bravo.
