so I went to the library today

and it occurred to me that I haven't voluntarily read a book since Magic Tree House #2. What am I doing with my life?

Magic Tree-house was the shit, I read like 30 of those.

I'm with you there man. Looked at my books recently and realized most of them are kids' fantasy. Seventh Tower, Narnia... Used to have the Harry Potters but I think they've all been indefinitely borrowed. Well, except for somehow ending up with two copies of Deathly Hallows. :L

Why would I go to a library when I have a device with more information, entertainment, and reading material overall in my pocket?

Oh, because I use it to look at cat pictures and talk to strangers.

 

Because the feeling of a good solid book will soon become a thing of the past.

I HATE WHEN PEOPLE DO NOT READ THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD BOOKS OUT THERE PLEASE JUST LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU LIKE AND I WILL GIVE YOU SOME SUGGESTIONS

 

Sometimes this can be just as enlightening as reading a book. Cat pictures teach you all sorts of wonderful and fundamentally integral things about the universe, like what is the cutest position a kitten can sleep in.

 

That's why I still buy physical comic books.... I like the feel of physical books. And the smell. TOO BAD I HAVEN'T READ IN YEARS outside of the occasional comic.

I haven't read in so long because I have so much crap to buy and can't afford most books I want.

 

this is why libraries exist.

 

I haven't read a book since Neverending Story. I'm not entirely sure why, but it might have been because it ended, which made me realise that books are so full of lies that even the titles can be lies.
