It seems like you guys haven't heard any dubstep other than Skrillex and mainstream dubstep artists. There's a less annoying side to dubstep. Try Nero. Their music isn't filled with as much screeches and other stuff. And Alana Watson has an amazing voice (despite the possibility of computer enhancement).

Dubstep is like rap for me. As a genre, I hate dubstep with a passion. A good song can't be woven entirely out of dubstep thread. Dubstep is great as an element of music. If you write a section of a song to use dubstep-like music, it can be a fantastic success. But a whole song? Nope. Dubstep is like the delicious sauce on a rack of baby back ribs. Do you really want ribs made entirely out of barbecue sauce? Of course you don't. You want that tender, juicy meat that you can bite into and chew the hell out of.

I have listened to a lot of it, and seems like the less dubstep characteristics a dubstep song has, the better it is. As a sound designer myself, I can appreciate the effort put into the sound design, but as music, most of it is repetitive garbage.

How did dubstep become popular anyway? It was a fluke... right?

Can't find a single enjoyable country song, so yeah.

The only dubstep I like is when its remixed with other, substantial songs.

Too bad he chose a mediocre song. Does he do other stuff?

My only complaints with dubstep are that many of the songs sound extremely similar, while many others aren't actually original, they're just remixes of something and it's extremely easy to pass yourself off as being good at dubstep composition if you can recreate the common sounds used.

    He delivers.

I like the second one the most.

    Best pun.
