Ennis Lobby is already dubbed, and there's about 155 more episodes till the best arc so far gets dubbed, and I'm only at about episode 145 or so, so I've got about 200 episodes to catch up. Though I'm sure I still have to wait till next year or more till the best arc so far is put out dubbed

Because I like watching in english if possible. Though that won't mean I won't watch a show if it's only in sub.

    this.

Though I prefer shippuden in dub because I like to multitask when watching shippuden like right now I'm constantly fighting on UNS3 so I like to have shippuden playing at the same time but OP you should just sub run it.

I don't feel like watching it in sub, I just said that. Why is it that even when I state what I want to watch a show in, people keep suggesting I should do something else?

On another note, isn't that Medaka Box in your signature?

The ol Dub vs Sub situation huh. Being a One Piece fan for about a decade now (I'm old Dx) and having watched both subs and dubs since I am in a situation where I can say both are good. I'd obviously say the original Japanese dub is the best, but Funi's English dub has grown on me. Hell of a lot better than...this...
Almost ashamed to say this is what introduced me to the series...

    dont be.

I remember watching it on 4kids and it being like the tightest shit ever. Back then I had no conception of anime and therefore no idea that it was so heavily edited, I just knew that it was one of my favorite shows. As bad as it is by comparison, it's very nostalgic for me and I remember it fondly. Yeah nowadays I would never go back to it but the memories of it are still alive and kickin.

On a completely different side note, have you ever heard of the Singapore dub of One Piece?
It's a thing that happened for some reason...

I absolutely love the art in One Piece that I think reading the manga is really the only option for me. I don't know how faithful the anime is to the manga (in terms of story, content, or art) but the art is just so impressive sometimes and it's great to be able to stop and appreciate certain panels. That doesn't always happen with anime.

SURPRISE I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT ARLONG PARK AGAIN
these three fing panels killed me
i stared at them for roughly 35 minutes

And obviously it's a big moment in the anime, not downplayed at all, but something about the harsh transition in the manga, something about the way it just turns into that full panel of luffy, something about how luffy starts all serious and somber and stalwart looking and then is just fing ridiculous and luffy

aw man i gotta get into one piece again

    It was real.

The third English dub hardly any knows about.

Funny thing about you bringing up Arlong park, since Crunchyroll is adding all of the older eps of the show on their site little by little I've been rewatching the older eps for the 83rd time because why not and I just watched that scene today.
When it comes to how faithful the anime is to the manga, it stays pretty faithful but the last couple of years has been kind of harsh to the show...
Also if you like the manga that much, there is a digital full color edition of the manga available. It's only in Japanese, but they look amazing.
