So I saw this Facebook status

"-anyone can make you happy by doing something special, but only someone special can make you happy without doing anything ♥"


Does it make sense? Wouldn't you have to DO something, in order to make someone happy? Does this mean I can watch tv all day while sitting on the couch, and I would make that special someone happy? Would we have to be madly in stupid love for that to happen?

 

Isn't breathing considered doing something?​

 

all it means is that just the thought of you could make them happy. or something.

 

No, because it is not a conscious action.

Watching TV is not doing nothing, it is watching TV.

Hmmmm..... OOHHHHHH. Yeah, that makes sense.

Yeah, but by watching TV, I meant doing nothing for THAT special someone.

 

Just anything more than what you normally do. So it should really be:

"~Anyone can do something special to make you happy but it takes someone special to make you happy without doing anything that they wouldn't normally do, like breathing or watchnig TV."

This makes a lot of sense. It's all so clear now.
