You mean the fact of the matter that the protagonist selfishly sacrifices the good of the world to save the princess? I found it to be a nice twist leaving it open for a sequel.

Pretty much. The fact that all of the lands were able to survive as long as she was dead also did it. I have so many questions unanswered...

Elika was sort of sad when she was revived, but she still decided to be with the Prince. Makes you think if she is really the light side or if light is no better than "dark."

Was it any good? I've always wanted to play one of these games.

It was an amazing game. The ending was what it should have been. The "prince" doesn't want anyone making his destiny so he took it upon himself to do things the hard way. Ahriman would eventually break free one day and there are other fertile grounds so the two would have to travel around to get rid of him once and for all. Plus...he wouldn't just let a friend die when there are other options.

Yeah but doesn't the princess give up part of her life force for each ground she saves? Even if they decided to go to other grounds, wouldnt things end up repeating?

No she doesn't. Although she does get tired she doesn't give up any of her own life from what is explained in the game. Until the ending...>>; Things wouldn't really repeat themselves. Besides, Ubisoft will make a way for things to work out.

I only have Prince of Persia: Fallen King for DS. Haven't beaten it but I need a new DS because ours broke. After it broke I figured out how to beat the boss I'm stuck on.

I honestly didn't like Prince of Persia. The gameplay was boring. :(

I couldn't even get past the first fifteen minutes without getting sick of it.

I just had to bump this a little...even though it's not much of a bump. I recently saw the Epilogue gameplay(it's DLC) and....

First off, it annoys me that people think the ending is pointless. The "Prince" says why he saved Elika and set Ahriman free. He would've escaped again anyways. B|

Basically, during the sandstorm, they find refuge in a palace. Of course they can't stay there for long because Ahriman is following them. So they go down further inside it, having to fight Elika's father several times because since he's been brought back because Ahriman is free...something like that. Elika's mad at the Prince the entire time and guess who else appears? The Warrior and the Hunter. Of course it's actually Ahriman using forms familiar to him because he's still weak. They appear together...you fight the Warrior, beat him, then he turns into the Hunter and you have to beat him quickly or else the Warrior appears again. It's interesting because at first the two think that like Elika's father, they were brought back but then she realizes that they don't have souls and that it's really just Ahriman. Soooo...they escape the palace after a few fights and Elika basically ditches the Prince saying she has to look for her people. And the Prince during the whole level keeps suggesting that she has the power to stop Ahriman(much to her disbelief) because why else would he want to kill them if nothing could stop him. So yeah...that's it. The two kinda get seperated...I didn't play the DLC but it looks worth the price that its up for. ^^

To be honest I actually liked the game better with the ending it already had, not the DLC =/

Although the DLC did look fun with the new plate and all.
