I gave up on trying to understand Zelda's "timeline" years ago. =/

 

I have taken up the challenge and the result of my labour is the odd monstrosity you see hidden behind the spoiler tag.

 

Pretty sure Zelda I & II are before A Link To The Past.

 

why is there a copy wright half scribbled out to the bottom left?

I forgot to mention, A Link To The Past =/= Four Sword Adventures. Four Swords was a bonus multilayer game included with the GBA port of ALTTP and Four Sword Adventures was a different game with the same characters so basically it's like a sort of side story to ALTTP.
