So I just watched the musical play version of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella....

And it was okay. Although in my opinion, the King and I is better.

    Not mentioning Jason Alexander.
    Not mentioning Whoopi Goldberg.
    Not mentioning Bernadette Peters.

    You are a bad person.

    Aw shieeeet.

I thought I was the only one who liked the 1997 film. I'm glad I'm not.

When I was little, I used to watch the first Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. The one made in '65 with Lesley Ann Warren as Cinderella. I remember when we first got the '97 version, and we watched it like, fifty times. We still know all the words for all the songs. I feel so old.

Yeah, the film is better than the live version because they added one or two numbers from another Rodgers and Hammerstein play that really fit. I say this as a person who has seen both recently. You probably won't agree because, I thought the King and I was pretty much garbage when I saw it as a child.
