So I just watched the Godzilla movie

It sucked. I had no intention of watching that film at all from the beginning, got it because i was low on movies to rent from netflix, still really didn't feel like watching it, watched it, and found out it sucked -insert appropriate word here-. The parts I liked most about it were the ones that didn't have Godzilla in it. Not too mention, the two MUTOs looked just like the monster from Cloverfield. About an hour in me, my brother, and my dad were making fun of basically every scene because of how bad it was. Not too mention, does someone have something against San Francisco? Seems like a lot of movies lately end up with that city destroyed one way or another

 

I liked it personally, but I'm a big Godzilla fan. What about it did you not like about it?

 

I actually kind of liked it too. It was a nice homage to the original movie.

 

I thought it was ok. Not the best but tbh its nice to see a decent Godzilla film since every film after G vs Destoroyah felt underwhelming.

I do look forward to the sequel.

Dear Marvel, Please make a Avengers Vs. Godzilla crossover movie with Legendary. Also, get the rights to Rom, Space Knight and make him a movie.

 

It had amazing Godzilla moments when he was actually on screen.

And I liked seeing more angry Bryan Cranston.

Everything else....who cares? (unfortunately, "everything else" composed like 75% of the film)

 

"Everything else" composing 75% of a Godzilla film isn't unusual.

I'm not kidding either. Did you know in the original Godzilla movie Godzilla has about 15 minutes of screen time?

 

But it's usually not THIS BORING.

And yes, I have watched many Godzilla films, and the ones I remember watching are:

• 1954 Godzilla (English version)
• Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster
• Terror of Mechagodzilla
• vs Mothrah
• vs Destoroyah
• 2000: Millenium
• vs Megaguirus
  
• Tokyo S.O.S.
• Final Wars

Probably more that I can't remember and probably even own.

Point is, while the other bits weren't exactly Oscar-worthy acting and storylines, they were at least dumb enough to be engaging in my attention.

For all the good stuff 2014 Godzilla did, it stuck us through a Call of Battlefield bland-ass soldier guy storyline.

The only reason I like this movie anymore is because Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch tbh

Eh I guess it was okay either way

 

Playing the 'Let's try to lift Thor's Hammer while Tony makes stupid jokes' drinking game.

Thor always wins.

 

Because we couldn't actually have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver bang in the Avengers 2, we made them do it in another movie.

 

They had less chemistry in Godzilla than the MUTO's.

 

Well, that's because I didn't play the part opposite Elizabeth Olsen<3

 

Elizabeth Olsen is one of those celebrities I look at and just go

Godzilla starred in the movie for eighteen minutes and some seconds. They should have just called it Guy Running All Over.
