Spent $40 for it, but considering how rare it is now, and how expensive it is in most places, I basically got the middle of the road with this one. But seriously, I never should have sold my old copy of this game. If I knew it was going to become this rare and expensive, I would have kept it. Now I've been having urges to play it again, and it's one of the few games i never quite got over playing after so many times.

I loved that game so much, used to play online on it everyday all day startin from the moment I got my japanese copy to a few months after the english version release.
Too bad that wi-fi is down, otherwise we could have played some matches, I still have my english BA copy around here ...somewhere... probably.

Yeah, never get rid of a Mega Man game. Many of them end up very valuable. Except X7 you can get rid of that one. please

    I want a MM7 cart so bad but it's $150 loose. Cry.

You know what dude? X7 is MILLLLLES better than X6. X7 wasn't even that bad, it just felt early 3D and the 3D areas were less responsive than the 2D parts. X7 is just one of the worst in a series of tremendous quality. It's far better than most bad games.

    Meanwhile, X6..... Dear god X6.

Legit people, you think Sonic 06 is broken? It's true, it is. You know what X6 is? Poorly designed due to how lazy it is ANNNNNNNNNNNND broken.

    a classic

Actually yeah to be perfectly honest I have always gotten the impression the dev team was really trying with X7 and just didn't get things quite right, whereas for X6... they weren't, whether it was due to time constraints or whatever else, lol. But I mostly mentioned it as a joke ahah. I'm not extremely familiar with either game out of admitted disinterest :v.

The thing about X7 I think is that its flaws are more obvious immediately... The nails-on-a-chalkboard voice acting, the clunky graphics and animations, the confused gameplay that is constantly switching around. X6 seems a-okay on the surface -- it looks more or less fine, having taken its aesthetic cues from X5, and the core mechanics remain the same. And then you encounter unfair level design and the new gimmicks. And Capcom...

Well, I've learned my lesson now. Though it's still hard to get myself to play Leo just because the gameplay is funky. I know it was just around when the DS first came out, and the Touch Screen was this huge deal, but it gets really annoying. I enjoyed Black Ace's gameplay a little better. And the only thing I have against the 2nd game is that the sheer amount of time you're running around huge amounts just for sidequests.

Oh, I'm a fan of Clement too!

Yeah, you nailed it gurl. X7 is very much playable, it's just the 3D segments are suuuuper clunky and make you feel nowhere near as agile as X should. It just is easier to see the flaws, but X6 is unplayable and looks like an appealing and good game... It's not <_<

Ahah he used to have this great compilation of the most frustrating parts of his X6 Let's Play, but while the LP is still up that video appears to have been taken down :'c it was one of my favorites.

Well that's the great thing about Mega Man lol, there are a LOT of them to choose from, most with their own little features and quirks, so you can find a few that really suit you.

The few that suit me most is BN3 and BN6, as well as SF2 and SF3. The only thing I have against Zerker X Ninja/Saurian is the distance between some areas, especially when you go between countries. It's more of an annoyance mostly. I just wish there was a DS make of BN6 like they did with BN5. I can't play my BN6, but it's fun using Gregar

    Awww maaaaaan. I don't honestly watch his Mega Man stuff- rather, I watch his Sonic stuff. He's very educational about how the games play and what not early in his LPs so I watch what he says to get an idea of how a game plays and if it's worth a purchase, as I've never really combed the Sonic series like I did Mega Man. Sonic is also hard to collect for because SO MANY GAMES ;~~;

Oh, and he's also always optimistic about the games he plays. He really likes almost everything and if he doesn't like a Sonic game, he's normally good at it.

Yeah, it's interesting how seemingly small issues can make a big difference. There are a lot of games I like overall but don't play as often as I might because of small annoyances like that. :v

Oh, I'm the other way around actually lol! I watch his Mega Man videos a lot but his Sonic ones less frequently. I'm not altogether familiar with Sonic, I've only really played Heroes. I've been itching to try Sonic CD for a long while and haven't gotten around to it. :'|
But yeah I agree, he's very informative and when he doesn't like something he's reasonable about it and mentions what he DOES like as well. And yeah, he tends to know what he's doing either way. Makes for an easy watch.

Well, if you're going to play a game and show others, even if you don't like it, it's good to point out what makes the game. I'm trying to do the same thing with my legend of Dragoon Let's play. Though I'll admit, it's easier said then done
