Same here. I mean I have a boyfriend, but it makes life much more complicated at times. Sometimes complication isn't the best thing, it's understandable. Especially for us teens. I am just pointing out (and I am trying to be nice about it honestly) you're better than making excuses like that. You don't even have to make an excuse honestly, it's your life, your choice to do whatever you want. In the long run my opinion means little. You just deserve better than the "staying inside" thing. Everyone does, give yourself some more credit. The moving thing makes sense. I'm sorry if I'm being like mean or something, I'm trying to help lol.

well, it's the first username I've done that's a girl name. Usually it's Lloyd, but I wanted something new

when I say I'm an inside person, it's more like because I like to be alone. I love the peace and tranquility of being alone. It's nice and quiet. I don't have to deal with noise. That's basically what it means by inside. Like if I go outside, I try to keep to myself or away from other people.

 

You say you like being alone, but is that truly how you feel?

Surely there are times when you hate being alone, and wish to talk to someone.


It can't be all "Oh hey I like being alone always **** yeah".

Come on dude, you know you don't like it as much. Don't you ever feel like going out?

I mean like having an alone lazy day can be cool. But always being alone is unhealthy. Going out with friends and family is healthy in moderation. Being entirely alone isn't. You can maintain a balance between isolation and dependence. I mean, unless being alone makes you happy, then I mean I guess dude. But you joined a forum so you can't hate talking to people that much since you're reaching out into the world technically by doing so.

....nope. I don't ever feel like going out. My mom always asks me if I ever feel lonely, and frankly, I don't. Like I said, I like being alone. It makes me feel at peace. There's no noise to drive me crazy and anything else. And talking online isn't the same as having to deal with so much noise in real life. I'm fine chatting over the internet, since it's technically still keeping me alone.

 

Trust me, you'll feel differently some day. I used to be like you.

you should see my brother. He hated his job at Khols. He didn't mind being with his co-workers, but he just hated having to deal with people in general.
I just like being alone in silence. It keeps me calm. Having a ton of noise around me drives me crazy. Enough of it makes me feel like riping my ears off so I don't hear anything. That's half the reason I like to be alone. I don't mind being with friends, but since we mostly do things on the PS2/PS3, it doesn't matter to me

I used to think that I am the only one who is there for myself but then I realized that I was surrounding myself with the wrong people and looking at life the wrong way. I don't want to judge your life or you but I used to think I was better off alone because I hated people because they hurt me. But I guess I realized there is so much good in the world, it's just kind of outnumbered at times. I never thought anyone would love me or want to be my friend, but my life is so different now. I still have the days where I wanna shut everyone out, the people I love helped me to look at things differently. I was doing really stupid things because I thought I was better off alone and my life didn't even matter. In short, I want everyone to see the good in the world. Nobody should be lonely. It's just out of your comfort zone. This isn't about me or something, just do what makes you happy. Loneliness is not the answer, though.

I don't mind having a few friends, but just, always having to move, it's hard for me to really try. I've never been able to stay in one place in my life. I've always moved. A few friends are nice. If I had like 1 or 2 friends, I would be just fine
