So I did it.

I filed a counter notification against a YouTube bot.
Now I get 10 days of worry.

Oh joy.

 

I got 1 back in December for my The Best of Team Rocket - Episode 2, and out of panic I removed Episode 1 and other related Pokémon videos. I never bothered to file a counterattack, because I didn't know what the issue was.

I recently found out that it was because Episode 2 contained some clips from the Electric Soldier Porygon episode, which was never dubbed, so...

I probably wouldn't have bothered if I wasn't uploading videos anymore, but I have two strikes now. One is from 2009, though, so that's the one I'm filing because it's probably safe to say they don't care anymore.
I'm just a scaredy-cat.

 

I've always been curious, how do you know what qualifies as a 'strike'? I mean, I've had stuff blocked or taken down before, and I always get an email about it, but on my profile it always says 'your account is in good standing'. >__>

It wasn't too bad for me, though, considering I've been there since 6/29/2006.

Yea, I think strikes actually sometimes get taken off after a long while.

Like I said, my first strike was from 2009.
