So...Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is gonna have VR support

Just thought y'all should know.

I'm still sour that they cut the cast down to nine girls. No love for the guys yet either.

 

It's fan service with VR, what'd you expect?

 

A reason to throw Tecmo Koei a bone for once.

Yet again, they prove themselves to be absolutely incompetent with handling this series.

 

I don't play the series at all, so I don't know what's good or bad about it

 

I read an article about VR porn once and I feel it's applicable to this thread

 

It's a fantastic fighting game that's been ailed with some of the worst nickel-and-dime DLC implementation I've ever seen. There are costume packs that cost more than the game. Tecmo Koei refuses to fix the issues still present with the PC port, which didn't even get online multiplayer for nearly half a year after it launched, and even now it barely works.

There are at least mini-games in this, though at the point TK is at now with cutting corners and selling DLC that should just be in the game, I might as well call DOAX3 a mini-game by itself with all the good ideas they just ignore.

 

I only played the first one on arcade way back when. I think it did have some dudes in its cast, but that was before they went crazy with the boobs. And the bouncing. And did I mention the boobs ? It was pretty good for a fighting game but I was more of a Tekken kind of guy.

I' m quite curious to try that VR thing though, horror games will drive people mental with this.

 

I sense 1000 Gamerscore in my future
