That's not how alignments work. But it's actually pretty bad to multiclass Barbarian and Paladin together because their skills don't depend on the same stat blocks.
D&D is what I've been playing. Also, you can expect anyone to believe that a Paladin doesn't use any magic stats in any game.
It sounds too Final Fantasy-ish. It would be fantastic if Bravely Default were a Final Fantasy game, but as it is now it seems like they're just pandering to FF fans by making it sound exactly the same.
That's funny because my complaint is that it sounds nothing like Final Fantasy. In fact it reminds me more of Etrian Odyssey, with generic guitar riffs and simplistic rhythms, and the fact that much the same instruments persist throughout the soundtrack - or at least what I've heard of it. It's background music, but it's not mood music; it has no interaction with the setting or atmosphere of the places in which it plays.
Bravely Default started development as a Final Fantasy spin off, the title was changed to avoid confusion, apparently. A lot of that, especially the guitar riffs, reminds me more of generic anime music if anything. But I really love the melodies, which is really all that matters with music to me.
