So, winter is starting. And there's already signs of snow...I love snow! So, how is your experience with snow?
It LITERALLY just started snowing here for me. I feel so giddy, it's ridiculous. It's my favorite thing ever. I think it's pretty, especially when the town is covered in it. Only thing is...here, no one knows how to drive in the snow. Pretty awesome for days off. Pretty not if you have to drive in the traffic.
Ah I know... We always have problems with roads and trains when it snows. Still, it doesn't make a difference to me, I will always love it....
Made a snowman. Called him Frosty. Then the sun came and melted him away. That's my experience with snow. Your lucky to have snow now, I normally get it around January/February time. Its only when I'm half way to school that they decied to close it -.-'.
Ah, I kow, we are getting snow really early this year... I hope I can still continuing school though... I hate being at home...
Snow, that comes in March for me. The past couple of year we've had snow in March (no idea why March) and we get a couple of days off school. It's normally really snowy, they don't say on the radio that our school is shut so we go in and after 20 minutes they say "Ring your parents! Go home!" Then everyone thinks in Unison "What was the point in going to school anyway." And for the people who take a bus to school get stuck in the building with no means of getting home. It's sad.
Ah snow can bring lots of problems. But our traffic has problems with every kind of weather really. Dutch people whine about everything, really...
I hate snow. But I remember one time I was at school and we were eating lunch outside when it started snowing for the first time that year. A few kids stood up on a table, joined hands and started singing, "Dashing through the snow, on a one-horsed open sleigh..." It was pretty cool :)
