Smogon rules discussion

Speed boost has been banned in several competitions and is frowned upon heavily by many competitive players. I don't see what is hard to grasp about this.

Why would I train myself to work around speed boost when it'll be rarely used? It would be better practice if I spent my time using other sets, like I just explained 50 times

 

Blaziken is only allowed in Ubers, speed boost or not, so if you're gonna use Blaziken you may as well use speed boost. I assumed you were talking about an Ubers environment. I can't speak for VGCs as I'm not familiar with their rules.
